Very strong magnet

This device is very made. The folding part is all metal and hefty. The hinges are very stiff and won't sag with the weight of the phone *at all*. It also charges my iPhone13 pretty quickly (I have a thin case on the phone). The magnet is strong without making it impossible to easily remove the phone.

I've only had it for a few weeks but i like it so far. Great sound. I like the clean front panel with 2 knob and 1 push button. The rest are touch panel style interface. I have to get use to the remote buttons feel. They are flush and sealed so you don't have to worry too much about spills getting inside. The only opening is the select switch at the top for zone 2. The remote is also big and thin with some weight to it. I only have a pair of MartinLogan Motion 10 tower speaker connected right now and they sound really good. I'm thinking about getting the Klipsch Reference Cinema Dolby Atmos 5.1.4 System so I can check out the Dolby Atmos feature. For those wondering if this receiver has the HDMI 2.1 circuit board for 4K/120Hz, it does. I confirmed it today. I signed up on Yamaha's site with my serial# to get updated HDMI 2.1 news and they sent me an email stating that my receiver already had the new HDMI 2.1 circuit board already installed. At least now I don't have to worry about upgrading my receiver for the next 5 years. I still have a lot of features to check out so I will do another update review later.
