This drive is very lightweight and sleek, taking up less physical space than 2 or 3 flash drives, and packing internal SSD levels of performance and capacity into something very portable. It will easily fit into your pocket, purse, or briefcase and will readily replace a handful of flash drives. The speed claims made on the product listing are not nonsense and are actually pretty close to real world performance. I ran several disk benchmarks, and easily achieved read speeds exceeding 900MB/s for sustained periods of time. Write speeds were also very good and actually improved as I threw larger test file sizes at it, varying between about 460MB/s with 10MB test chunks to 720MB/s with 1000MB test chunks. I wrote over 1TB of data to this drive benchmarking it, and it didnt skip a beat. I am particularly impressed with my last test where I wrote 1000MB files 1000 times (basically a terabyte of constant writes) and the drive performed pretty consistently. Im used to testing cheaper SSDs where the performance falls off a cliff once you fill up the cache, but this drive continued to perform no matter how much data I threw at it. Given that its a 2TB drive, Im sure it doesnt have a 1TB cache, so this must be some pretty performant flash memory. Additionally, the drive never even seemed to get warm while I was bombarding it with all this test data. The performance of this drive makes it feel like a desktop grade SSD, and yet it is packed into an incredibly small and portable package. There feels like there is no downside here and no sacrifice was made to make it so small and portable.

Tiny & light. USB 3.2 gen 2x2!! Repartitioned GUID / APFS Encrypted (macOS 10.15.7) & first Carbon Copy Cloner backup was 953.2GB / 53m24s & it was barely warm.
