I'm a content creator, and i am often moving files from one drive to another, so the ridiculously high transfer speeds offered by NVMe technology makes a lot of sense for my use case. I purchased one of the western digital NVMe drives for my new rig as a boot drive, and i couldn't be happier with its performance so far. my system is lightning fast and boot times are incredible. I replaced the original mechanical drive for performance enhancements. Worked excellent. Boot times increased, the lag time with the HD was getting bad especially since microsoft enabled sysmain for cache purposes. Worth the money.
