- 3x M.2+ Tool-less install - Good connectivity options - Clean and professional look - Fan Control was well thought out - RGB sync'd up fine using the supplied software - VRMs ran cool
Really good motherboard, used to replace an old PC and it was the best budget with all the latest gen support. Some highlights: - PCI-E Gen 4.0 x16 port - M2 Slot for Future Wifi - 2x USB 3.0 Headers - VRM Headsink - Has diagnostic LEDs - 3 Slot GPUs wont block I/O headers
-Simple installation -Back I/O has pretty much everything you would need -Competitive pricing
Multiple M2 slots, 4 SATA connections, Lots of USB with high speed. One HDMI and two display/USB ports can connect three monitors directly or daisy chain more. Includes Wi-Fi with a two-connector antenna. Has on board graphics. Many fan power connectors. Pretty much everything I need. Two PCIE 16 slots in case I want to add a GPU and whatever else. I also added additional front panel USB/Card slots so I have top panel USB, back panel USB and front panel USB/card slots. Somewhere around 20 USB ports. Downloaded the ASUS software that installed all the drivers very quickly. No problems finding drivers, etc. Loaded up Windows Pro 11, had a minor hiccup installing Windows but AI chat helped me get around that fairly easily. Bought Windows 11 Pro from StackSocial for $13. Support there was great and software works great.
- Came with latest bios at the time I received it (2.02) - Fast boot times - Bios is easy to navigate/understand
I like the variety of M.2 ports and how easy installation was. The whole installation process was very easy, and despite what I read on other forums, the WIFI setup was a breeze. I was already familiar with MSI's bios options, setup, etc. Everything was a breeze. 3 months in, I'm very pleased.
- Design, I like the all black design and heat spreaders keeping it minimal. - b850, comes with newer features like pcie 5.0, gen 5 storage, and 9000 series support - wifi, always a plus and personally I always prefer the attachable antenna instead of the little tower with a wire some motherboards use - 8 usb on back, more that enough for my peripherals - pcie 16x location, for my specific matx case, I wanted the pcie lane for the gpu to be at its highest so there would not be a extra slot between the cpu cooler and gpu - dual motherboard display output, helped me a lot when I was out a gpu and needed to use my computer with integrated graphics. -Bios, very user friendly, easy to tune ram and cpu
-Good looking design -No bios update required for 9800x3d -button for releasing GPU is a nice feature -m.2 installations are super easy on this board -XMP had zero issues running included 6400MHz ram at said speeds
Excellent features and build quality, while topping all other all-white options for motherboards with X870E chipsets. Gigabyte went the extra mile by making many of the components on the board white, where their competitors cheaped-out and went with standard black (such as power connectors, fan connectors, and RAM slots). This may not sound like a big deal, but when going for an all-white build, this makes a huge difference in the appearance of the finished product. The feature set and performance of the board has been excellent, and it's been rock-solid, stability-wise. The only thing the board lacks that would make it absolutely unbeatable, is an external clock generator, for enthusiasts looking to squeeze every last bit out of their CPUs in competitive benchmarking.
Smol footprint. Perfect for cube computer!
Simple setup, worked and updated itself on first power up zero issues thus far. Massive heat sinks everywhere running benchmarks so far everything has been optimal. Nothing over 70c at 100% on processor, board, or video card. Wish I had known before hand they had heat sinks installed on the M.2 sockets for M1 M3 and M4. Wouldnt have had to buy memory with heat sinks. This is more positive than negative hence the pros column.
-Compatibility: With AM5 -Price: I got mine with a large discount because of a promo but at its current price still seems like a good deal -Easy to install: Didn't take me too long to set it all up in my computer -Appearance: My build isn't full white, but I really like the color and its contrast to the build
Looks nice
Shields/heatsinks are not flimsy, the entire board feels sturdy which was a requirement for this build.
- Sturdy, feels tough, well built - No BIOS update needed for latest 9000 AMD series processors. - Easy to apply CPU under-volt with performance presets in BIOS. - Built-in IO Shield - Wifi Antenna holes - 1 USB-C port and 1 header for future upgrades
Aesthetics are pleasing. I am super pleased that this wasnt decked out with rgb lighting. It was a blast to build with this motherboard. It is tiny but has everything youre looking for. Easy to set up and I was gaming within less than 2 hrs.
Great motherboard that supports everything thing a modern gaming PC needs. 10/10
Stability, temperature, tool-less M2 SSD installation, temperatures, 3rd SSD slot
Improved network speed and wifi. Better slot placement than the PRO 650m A board. The pci slot for expansion cards is full length so I can use a 10G network card and it has an extra PCI-E 8 pin connector for power for PCIE 5 SSD.
As usual, at least in my experience, ASUS products have been solid performers. I use ASUS motherboards in all my computer builds, never had one mal-function.
