I bought this for a home server running Debian 12. It has an intel chip so it wasn't hard to get it working. Compatible with WOL, apparently.

A lightning strike took out the network capacity on my PC. Not replacing the MB because the TP-LINK USB wireless adapter worked. Price was great too. When I replace the PC I'll have a spare wireless network device.

Easy install and start-up. Fixed intermittent dropout problem with my old adapter. The bluetooth function solved a lag issue with wireless mouse.

- Quality build. Heat sink protects chips, and a piece of plastic covers the bottom where all the solder joints are. Very little of the raw printed circuit board is exposed. - Only requires a PCIe 1x slot, which is the short one in the photos. It can fit in longer slots if that's all you have available. - Includes low-profile backplate, if you need it. - Includes the cable needed to power the Bluetooth radio from a USB header on your motherboard. - No restart needed after driver install.

Great antenna , works in latest linux distros too. Look to find rtw_88 driver.

Easy to install. Terrific speed
