How black can a black case be?
Pros: Antec! Front audio, USB *and* SATA. Very, very, Quiet. I have used the Sonata II cases, and this is my 1st Sonata III case. Some improvements. I love the rubber shock mounts for your HD's. Room for 3 CD-Roms, and 2 floppy sized devices on front. This is just a nice case. You'll not know until you build a system with it.
Cons: If I have to mention anything, bhis this is SO black, that your fingerprints show easily, but that is the great part about it too. It just ooooozes quality. Some may not like the swing door, but I do because it hides the reset and power button from accidental hits.
Overall Review: Huge 12cm fan that really draws the cool air. The fan has a 3-position switch (Lo / Med / Hi). You can change depending on room temp or needs. Ability to lock the inside case access and front access. Won't keep out a thief, but will deter fellow workers or children.
Great Memory - Works in Dell
Pros: Breathed new life into an older Dell computer. No issues with recognition or compatability. Makes Windows 7 run fast again.
Cons: First time I've been disappointed with New Egg shipping. Delivery was 4 days. Items were shipped from Edison NJ, but they slapped a Whittier CA shipping label to make it look like it came from the west coast. I live 175 miles from Edison. Normal shipping is 2 days, and sometimes overnight. Now they are using DHL and shipping was 4 days!! I can drive to Edison in 3 hours & 20 mins. I can drive to Baltimore in 1½, DC in 1½, and a little over 2 hours to Norfolk. I'm not in Montana. Shows it was picked up by DHL in Edison then it took a DAY to get to Secaucus, then it went to Baltimore and handed over to the USPS, then it goes to Wilmington, then to me.
Overall Review: Luckily no one was on life support needing this RAM.
Excellent for gaming and more!
Pros: More volume than you'll ever need. Separate volume channels for game sounds/music and your team mates chat. Independent volume for bass... and PLENTY of it. As the ads say, it will allow you to hear sounds you never heard before, and will give you an edge in some cases. Well designed, the larger ear cup allows for a bigger speaker driver in this model, and provides extra comfort over the X11 model.
Cons: None to date. If I had to name one, I would make the cord a foot longer that runs from the in-line amp to the controller. But this is a standard stereo mini to mini stereo that can be purchased anywhere cords or cables are sold, including Radio Shack.
Overall Review: I was torn between buying wireless or wired, but econonmics made my decision... Since I sit in the same location playing, the cord has not been a problem. As you may read in other comments, the cord is long, but that is great if you sit closer to game, but is long enought to reach the couch to watch late night TV or movies! It is designed for the mic to be worn to the left side of your face, so if you have always had the mic to the right, just switch the red & white RCA plugs and it fixes that issue. As some have said, the X12 is not limited to XBox, you can use it on your laptop or other PC with stereo out and a USB jack. It is well designed, the new colors are great, the larger speaker drivers are wonderful. This is actually the same headset as the wireless, convenience of no wires is the difference in price, my wireless friends tell me they suck batteries. One last thought, unpack them slowly, everything is tightly packed. Don't ruin a cable unpacking too quickly!
Pros: Ordered this printer for a customer that is the rental department for a real estate company. This printer works great! They print all sized envelopes, checks, receipts, invoices, reservations, and anything else they throw at it. It prints fast, and is quiet. The print is near laser quality.
Cons: So far, none.
Overall Review: Easy setup; just follow the directions. Very easy to setup for print and networking. BTW, I'm here to order another one.
Convenient item - fits legacy space
Pros: Since hardly anyone uses floppy drives anymore, this device comes in handy and fits that "legacy" spot in your case. You just pop in, connect the included cable to a USB connection on your mobo, any you're ready to go. No drivers were needed! This accepts every type mem card I know of. I edit photos for people with every brand camera and card type, so this was great for me. You also get a new USB port on the front which is great if you have a thumb drive. You can't beat the price and convenience you gain, and you don't have to rely on your printer anymore as a card reader. PLUS, this device allows you to cross media copy data / files whereas most printers do not allow you to have more than one card at a time.
Cons: If I had to name one thing it would just be that some of the memory cards have to be inserted up-side-down. I was a bit upset when an SD card wouldn't go in, and I finally read the included instruction sheet. Otherwise, it's no big deal, but just keep this in mind.
Overall Review: Works great; convenient front loading on my computer, added another USB port, and the cross media transfer is a big help. I bought 2, and happy with both!
