Nice upgrade from 49" Nanocell
Pros: Everything. Discounts offered right now. Gorgeous picture, many gaming options, crisp, clear, precise.
Cons: I don't particularly care for the stand, I liked the one the Nanocell models had. Can't think of anything else, the stand is just a personal preference.
Overall Review: I had a perfectly working 49" LG Nanocell but I had always wished it had HDMI 2.1 inputs as I have both PS5's and Xbox Series X. There was also a slight bit of edge light bleed coming from the bottom which in my opinion got a little worse over time. The new C1 OLED is crisper, obviously no light bleed, and blacks are, well, black. It also allows for vision gaming, full 120hz refresh rates and both my next gen consoles are loving it. The two gift cards and the 4 year warranty thrown in made the cost of the 48" a little over 720.00. At that price point I couldn't resist. I stuck the Nanocell on a desk and will use it as a gaming monitor. It's a gorgeous picture so if you are on the fence, you won't regret it. Built-in apps are zippier than on the Nanocell by a little, and work flawlessly, I doubt my Roku Ultra will get much attention now.
Works great in LG V40
Pros: Quick read and write speeds
Cons: None
Overall Review: Bought for LG V40 ThinQ phone, no issues with compatibility.
Great value on sale, much faster than conventional drive
Pros: Arrived Quickly Faster than conventional drive
Cons: none
Overall Review: Came quickly and I used ghost to copy the old drive to the new drive, running Windows 10 pro. The way to train it is, boot it up, and fire up your most used apps, firefox, edge, internet explorer, chrome, word, excel, whatever the apps are you like to use regularly. Then close them all. Reopen them. Shut down the pc. Restart the pc. Repeat this a few times, system now boots up in about 12 seconds this includes me entering in my password. The apps I exercised the drive with load instantly. Your first bootup isn't going to be fast, and neither will all the first loads of apps. But after a few times it loads them pretty much as quickly as a full blown ssd. We'll see how it lasts. For now, it was worth the try out !!
Great Surge Strip
Pros: Slim Design, feels well made, all plugs felt secure and tight when plugging in the appliances. Well packaged and quick shipping via Newegg.
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: I was a bit skeptical of a "slim" design, fearing that the plug outlets may be cheaply built, etc. None of those skepticisms bore fruit. Unit seems to be well built and is much higher rated than the previous strip I've been using for many years. It's actually 3940 Joules even though the listing states 3780. That's a good rating and should keep my equipment safer than before. Couldn't be more pleased at this point, especially with the 7.00 savings code I was able to use bringing the price down to 17 dollars. Thanks Newegg !!
Fast and Quiet
Pros: Quiet, very fast, simple setup
Cons: none
Overall Review: It's a hard drive, simple to clone. I notice a difference between it and the 1tb caviar blue that it replaced. Got it on sale for 74 which made me give it a shot. Will keep an eye on it for health and report back it it prematurely fails. Can't beat the 5 year warranty
Great Little Thermometer
Pros: Works great, and is pretty much on spot accurate
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: Works great. Got it on sale and for the money it was worth the investment. Hopefully it will hold up for a few years, time will tell
