Most Favorable Review

I like it so far

Prolimatech PRO-PK3-1.5G Nano Aluminum High-Grade Thermal Compound in 1.5 Gram
Prolimatech PRO-PK3-1.5G Nano Aluminum High-Grade Thermal Compound in 1.5 Gram

Pros: First time trying it out. I wanted something to use instead of Arctic Silver 5, something that didn't require such a long bake in time. This stuff is perfect.

Cons: Price. It's expensive. You get half as much of this than you do the aforementioned brand for the same price. Would be nice to have a 3 gram tube at this price. But I like it more, so I will just buy a much larger tube next time.

Overall Review: I think it's worth it. I am likely going to buy more, as I have been testing it on EVERYTHING, but it works great. I use it with a corsair H115iV2 cooling a 6700K 24/7OC at 4.6ghz/1.296-1.305V. Also have an old e8500 at 4.0GHZ with this and an H60. I recommend it. I find it at least comparable, if not a bit better immediately than ArcticS5, a bit less viscous, just enough to be easier to work with.

After some finageling, it's doing what is should

XPG SX8000 M.2 2280 128GB NVMe PCI-Express 3.0 x4 MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) ASX8000NP-128GM-C
XPG SX8000 M.2 2280 128GB NVMe PCI-Express 3.0 x4 MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) ASX8000NP-128GM-C

Pros: CHEAP. It is tiny, and it does in fact work. I knew I was getting something that was lacking support/drivers from manufacturer. After about a month of ownership, and benchmarks aside, the performance is acceptable for my needs. I don't write much to this drive, but the write speeds are terrible, and the read speeds, although better than SATA III SSD's, are a slower than advertised (800-900 tops mb/s). CHEAP.

Cons: I don't write much to this drive, but the write speeds are terrible, and the read speeds, although better than SATA III SSD's, are a slower than advertised (800-900 tops mb/s). Runs HOT: Small heatsink goes a long way. (23C lower with small adhesive sink) The lack of support is disturbing. They have their SSD toolbox software, and driver/firmware support for their SSD's, but nothing for these NVMe Drives yet. I was ignored when I inquired, but they sent me a customer satisfaction survey for the support I never received, which also asked me to rate their software that does not support my device. Useless. Don't expect the Acronis 2015 they let you use will recognize an NVMe, 2017, or fresh install recommended.

Overall Review: Meh. I would like some support. And I like to at least have a tool that works to keep an eye on the drive. If they release a new SSD Toolbox with NVMe Support, it would be nice to see how this drive is performing. I bought it because of the price, I am not disappointed, nor offended, but meh, it is certainly nothing special, and the speeds they claim are maybe peak speeds, but certainly not a reflection of sustained/average read and write speeds.

Ok

Intel Core i5 6th Gen - Core i5-6600K 6M Skylake Quad-Core 3.5 GHz LGA 1151 91W BX80662I56600K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 530
Intel Core i5 6th Gen - Core i5-6600K 6M Skylake Quad-Core 3.5 GHz LGA 1151 91W BX80662I56600K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 530

Pros: Single core IPC/CLOCKS, overclocking potential. That's it really. Better bang for buck the the i7 6700k (or 7700k for that matter)

Cons: Can we get more cores. It's been FOREVER. Nothing ground breaking. I will be making the move to AMD Ryzen for my next build.

Overall Review: Go with a Ryzen 5. 4 Cores will soon become min spec.

Nothing special to be sure

Intel Core i7 6th Gen - Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1151 91W BX80662I76700K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 530
Intel Core i7 6th Gen - Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1151 91W BX80662I76700K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 530

Pros: It a slightly faster version of the previous CPU's. Nothing ground breaking in my opinion. Although mine is not a good over clocker, it does run stable, and the temps are very reasonable under a corsair H60. Onboard graphics works in a pinch, and is good to have if you need to trouble shoot, or you break your GPU, although personally I don't think the K should have onboard GPU at all, it's just a waste of space... MORE CORES!

Cons: It is nothing special. An i7 with 4 Cores and 8 threads, AGAIN. The fact they charge more for the unlocked CPU, while saving money on coolers is pretty much a scam. They should all be unlocked. Mine in particular was a lottery loser, so I sold it to a friend for what I paid for it. Not worth the money in my opinion. The i5 is a better price to performance ration for gaming, and beyond 4 threads, I would just stick to RYZEN.

Overall Review: It's ok. I don't like it for CPU encoding. I would rather have RYZEN for that. I don't find it offer much more than the i5 in any other tasks (Gaming, CUDA accelerated workloads), I just don't think it is the best value, although it is a very capable CPU that will be more than 90% of the people buying it will ever need.

Good service, Okay monitor.

ASUS VN248H-P 24" (Actual size 23.8") Full HD 1920 x 1080 VGA, 2x HDMI MHL Compatible Built-in Speakers Super Narrow Frame Design LED Backlit IPS Monitor
ASUS VN248H-P 24" (Actual size 23.8") Full HD 1920 x 1080 VGA, 2x HDMI MHL Compatible Built-in Speakers Super Narrow Frame Design LED Backlit IPS Monitor

Pros: If you can get if for under $200 all said and done, then it is a decent monitor for the price. The first one I received had light bleeding in. But the RMA process was fast. I just got a replacement this morning. They just sent a brand new one, paid shipping both ways, so the customer service is amazing from ASUS. It took 1 week exactly to have the RMA resolved, and to have a monitor back.

Cons: For an IPS panel there is still some noticeable distortion around the edges when not viewing from straight on. But again, the price is so low, I wasn't expecting much more than a working full 1080p monitor with HDMI.

Overall Review: Check your use case. I would say this is a decent second monitor. Also, I have found it an acceptable gaming monitor. 70hz refresh rate is a nice step up form 60hz I am used to. You have to set up a custom resolution to change the frequency to 70hz, but it does OC to 70hz without any issues. It is good enough for my needs at the moment.

AS usual, another greait AIO

Corsair Hydro Series H115i Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler, 280mm CW-9060027-WW
Corsair Hydro Series H115i Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler, 280mm CW-9060027-WW

Pros: Size, cooling, looks great my glass side panel Phanteks Eclipse. Keeps my 4.6ghz 6700k under 65 under load. So I am very happy.

Cons: FANS. They are ugly and loud.... The ugly thing I can deal with in this case, because they are hidden. But they are too loud. At this price, a couple nice quiet fans would be could. These are pretty cheap. The motherboard connector for the CPU fan causes some issues at setup as well. Just have to make sure you have a setting in your UEFI/BIOS that allows zero RPM to read off the CPU fan header.

Overall Review: Room to improve (As always with everything). The pump could use it's own flash memory, because the USB chord it ugly and in the way. But all in all, it was less than the options that do, and I knew what I was getting. But I have used exclusively corsair since the H50 on my i7 920 days. Use them in builds all the time. They look great. The good out weighs the bad by enough that I recommend it. But if you have the $$ NZXT is the same, with more features, and a bit cleaner with the removable usb.
