Great Keyboard, One Issue
Pros: -Very Solid Feel -Typing is very accurate -Back lights have customized settings -Braided cable -Sleek
Cons: The only bad thing I can say about this keyboard is that it won't always turn on when the computer is booted, causing you to have to unplug it and then plug it back in to make it power on. It happens intermittently however this was a gift for someone and it was disappointing to hear that it wasn't working perfectly. All in all it was a good buy, I just hope Cooler Master works out the bugs.
Performance is there, quality is not.
Pros: -Great Performance (it's a 970) -Sleek Minimalistic Look -EVGA extras that come with it
Cons: -Very Loud -Coil Whine -Power connector placement (further towards the middle) -Not happy with the zero RPM fan operation under 60c (causes card to always be running at 45c-50c on idle)
Overall Review: The 970 is a great card performance-wise. As for quality control (at least on this model), it's just not there. My card gives excessive coil whine, which is unacceptable in this price range. I can hear this card with my headphones on. I will begin the RMA process for this card due to this. I plan on trying another brand to see if any of these issues are resolved.
Does what it needs to
Pros: -Great contacts -No Issues
Cons: None
The best cooler in this category.
Pros: -Easy to Install -Quiet -Better cooling temps than other brands in this category. -Low price (I paid $35) -Very Sturdy -Comes in other colors (I bought the standard one)
Cons: None
Overall Review: I replaced a CM Hyper 212+ that was developing coil whine with this. In my opinion, the Enermax ETS-T40-TB is a better cooler. I got this for $35 which was an awesome buy. This cooler keeps my cpu about 2-3C cooler than the Hyper 212+. The installation is a breeze compared to other coolers in this category. Easiest one I've ever had to install. This is the second time I've built a system with this cooler. I also bought a white one for another build which was also a pleasure to install and use. The quality of these Enermax coolers are spot-on. I wouldn't use any other cooler in this price range.
Pretty Good
Pros: -Quiet -Sleek -Cooling ability -Easy installation
Cons: The heatsink plate that has contact with the top of the processor has several creases where it's not perfectly flat. This causes thermal paste to travel (in the creases) to the ends of the heatsink, sometimes causing paste to go off the edge of the processor. Not really a huge deal if you use very little paste, however if a novice uses this cooler and uses a little too much paste, it can cause some damage if the paste were to get to the contact pins of the processor. I may have just gotten a dud, regardless I was a bit disappointed when I saw how it spreads the paste.
Overall Review: All in all it is a great cooler. Just wish the quality control was a little better.
Decent Board, Great Design
Pros: -Awesome Color -Easy Configuration -Nice BIOS -Great Overclocking Capabilities -Cool Packaging
Cons: -Does not come with an SLI Bridge.
Overall Review: I used it in a build for my girlfriend who likes white and black PC builds. It is a pretty standard board out of the box, however that is why you can get such a great looking board like this for such a low price point. I do wish however that it came with an SLI bridge. You would think a board that heavily advertises it's SLI capabilities would have an SLI cable included in the box. I mean it literally says "Z97S SLI Krait Edition" on the front of the box. So MSI really needs to step it up an include one in the box. It was not worth deducting an egg over. All in all, it's a great board, and is perfect for black and white themed builds. I recommend it to everyone.
