Excellent Headphones - Highly Recommended.
Pros: - Directional sound is great for gaming, you can snap to the direction a sound came from very easily and accurately. - Sound quality is pretty good, well above average. - Very comfortable, I can wear these for a long time with no pain at all, they feel like clouds on your ears, and the suspended top brace can't be felt on your head. - Despite the above pro, they feel very secure on your head, no movement. - Build quality is exceptional, very sturdy, I've had them for about a year and a half and they show no signs of wear after probably a few hundred hours of use.
Cons: - Sound quality, while good for gaming, could be improved upon for music and other uses. Accurate bass, but without much punch. - The mic, while sounding great, does pic up a lot of breath unless kept a couple of inches to the side of the mouth. (Not an issue unless you forget.) - Cord is a little short without extension, but works for me. (I have the USB sound card stuck to the top of my RIG. - The extension is INSANELY long, like ten feet, great for sitting back while watching a movie... but hard to manage in other situations. But like I said, I don't find myself needing it when gaming with my setup. Nothing I felt was worth taking an egg off for.
Overall Review: All in all, I love this headset, and after having it for about a year and a half I have no major complaints, and have had zero issues with wear or breakage. The few reviews saying this is cheaply made honestly confuse me. The only model I would consider upgrading to is the new Siberia Elites that just came out a while ago, but they're a far bit more expensive.
Never worked, even felt cheap.
Pros: It's cheap... if that counts as a pro.
Cons: Never worked from day one. Feels cheap, it's so light, and the metal housing flexes under the lightest pressure. The cabled were too short for even a Micro ATX build, and didn't offer nearly as many connectors as the replacement unit I purchased.
Overall Review: I do not recommend this product at all, my advice would be to pay a little extra and get a good brand like Antec. You can feel the difference in quality.
Very nice case!
Pros: Very solid case, with great cooling. Lots of features for the money. Very good looking case.
Cons: One of the USB ports on the front had a small part break on it rendering it defective. May have been because of abuse though, I think someone tried to plug in a thumb-drive upside-down... Other than that, nothing comes to mind as a con.
Overall Review: Bought this for a budget gaming rig build for my sister, very nice case. I love the Antec name, this case met my good expectation provided by my Antec Two-Hundred 2 I've had for a few years.
Excellent, clean power.
Pros: Worked the first time, and works every time. No problems at all power a budget gaming rig I built for my sister. The cord is nice and long, and has all the connections you'll commonly need.
Cons: Nothing I can think of at all.
Overall Review: Bought this to replace a defective off-brand unit, works like a charm.
Excellent products, works as advertised.
Pros: Works exactly as described. I've never had any problem getting it to work. Truly is a plug-n-play device. The cord is quite long. Makes me laptop into a third, isolated, monitor for my desktop setup.
Cons: None that I can think of, maybe the transfer speed for files is a little slow, but that's being picky.
Overall Review: A must-have for anybody who works, or plays, with two computers at once.
Pros: - Fast and powerful! (out-specs and features just about any other laptop in it's price range) - Light, just under 8 pounds, not bad for school. - Excellent battery for the power it packs. (over 5 and a half hours in Eco mode) - Backlit keyboard is very nice. - Great looking laptop, gets lots of comments on the style. - Speakers are also REALLY impressive, easily the best sound I've ever heard from a laptop, better than the Asus ROGs or the Alienware M14x. - Keyboard is very responsive and a joy to type on. - Touch short-cuts strip above keyboard is handy, and has a customization key. (I set mine to open my browser.) - Trackpad is great, easily comparable to a Macbook Pros, which I consider to be excellent.
Cons: - Backlighting on the keyboard doesn't include a lot of keys. (caps lock, Fn, most of the punctuation keys, some of the other symbols on the number keys, tilda, and Esc.) - Eco mode rarely works properly, the 5 and half plus hours mention in the Pros is when it works right, otherwise you'll only get about an hour and a half. (Turning eco mode on and off a few times until you see the power consumption go to around 9-14 W instead of 20+ ensures you get close to your 6 hours)
Overall Review: I replaced the boot drive with a OCZ Solid 3 60Gb so I can boot and run a few games and programs off of it while using one of the included 750Gb drives for storage. Boot up time is under 20 seconds, probably somewhere around 15, but that is without any extra tweaking done. The two cons listed are just something to consider, but really don't bother me that much. I can't see them bothering many people. Nothing worth dropping an Egg in my opinion. I would definitely recommend this laptop if you're looking for something in this price/power range.
