Comfortable, but microphone deisgn flaws

Turtle Beach Ear Force PX51 Premium Wireless Dolby Digital PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 Gaming Headset
Turtle Beach Ear Force PX51 Premium Wireless Dolby Digital PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 Gaming Headset

Pros: *Comfortable and wont cause fatigue after hours of gaming (though it gets slightly warm) *Not quite 100% noise canceling, but about 70-80% noise canceling *Audio is clear and crisp when connected via Fiber Optics Toss Link *Base is decent, but not great. If you like base, then go for Astro A50's they have better base with mix amp. *Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone, ipod, and any BT enabled devices *3.5MM Port for XBOX, or other older legacy music devices (MP3, etc) *Has options for RCA audio to support older devices e.g. TV, VCR, DVD (not that you will really use them any more) *Stand is nice for holding headset!

Cons: *Microphone only works if connected via Bluetooth, this is redundant since it also require USB cable connected to PC to power 2.4/5GHZ Receiver. They should have made the USB connection integrated for the microphone. *If your microphone is attached, you can hear yourself talking and breathing. (This is quite annoying, just detach the microphone) (-.5 Egg) *Microphone placement is right over the power connection. This is very annoying since you have to turn the microphone every time you power on the device. (-.5 Egg) *Headset will automatically power off after 10-15 minutes of inactivity. (This can be a pro for some to save battery life, and very annoying for others) *Warranty is only 1 year, while competitors like Logitech and Astro is 2-3 years. If a manufacture is confident and stands behind their product they should give it 2-3 year warranty. *Newegg does not allow returns for this headset! Prices also dropped after Shell shocker deal to $100! I bought it for $120 shell shocker.

Overall Review: I normally don't write much reviews, but after seeing so many one sided stories, I want to give a fair opinion on the pros and cons of this device. For me, I'm a heavy PC user, and was debating on this or Logitech's G930. What made me decide to choose this headset was because it has great audio, Bluetooth connectivity, and was comfortable. After using the headset for several weeks, what bothers me the most is how I could hear my own breathing and speaking through the microphone, and microphone port blocking the power button. Other than this, the other con's dont bother me that much, and it has been a great headset so far. If you are looking for something with more bass, go with Astros A40's or A50's. If you are looking for a multi purpose headset with bluetooth, this is great. Looking back at the possible options, I would still have choose this headset over Astro, and G930. Bluetooth connectivity fits my needs and life style better. Every headset and product has their quirks. PX51 is no exception. If they could fix the microphone issues, then I would defiantly give this 5 stars. Other people may complain that Bluetooth phases in and out, but through my experience, this only occurs during the first several minutes after the device has been paired. I think its still communicating information to match up the device properly. After it finishes pairing, I have not experienced any further audio interruptions. *As for XBOX 360, XBOX One, PS3, PS4, I cannot speak for them since I don't have those devices. *Presets, I still have yet to play around with this feature. *One last note, do yourself a favor, and get the extended warranty for 3 years. Its not that much more($20-25). 1 year will go by very quickly, and it would suck to have a broken headset that is not in warranty. Then you have a paper weight.$20 is cheaper than $100-150 on a new headset in the future.

2 Cards Both have quality issues

EVGA GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Graphics Card 03G-P3-1584-RB
EVGA GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) 3GB GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Graphics Card 03G-P3-1584-RB

Pros: None

Cons: I bought two cards and they both. Crashes & Reboots on idle and during load.

Overall Review: You take a chance with refurbished products. They are cheaper, but they have higher risk of being defective or DOA. OF course you can RMA them to manufacture, but that takes more time and even then, they could give you other faulty cards depending on your luck.

ECS Z87H3-M(V1.0) LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
ECS Z87H3-M(V1.0) LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: It works out of box and is cheap for Micro ATX with SATA 6 USB 3.0 HDMI Z87 chipset. It was only $35 after coupon, and $20 rebate. I bought this to replace a HP Envy Mobo that died. To get an OEM mobo replacment, it would cost $180, but at $35, it is a steal!!

Cons: Non yet. I owned it about 1 day, and just re-installed windows. PC is working fine.

1 month Rebate Process!

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 650W ATX12V/EPS12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC High Performance Power Supply
CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 650W ATX12V/EPS12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC High Performance Power Supply

Pros: Faster than any rebate I have received so far. Only 1 months for MIR to be processed. Maybe corsair has their own rebate department instead of outsourcing it.

Cons: cant think of any

It works!

TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: So far so good 1tb 6gb/sec 32mb Cache all for $54.99 Shell shocker for this price, what can you ask. Notes: First used this as a boot drive, as an extra storage drive. Boots fine into windows 7 no issues. Other people must have got a bad drive. Computer specs: Amd Athlon II x4 640 CPU

Cons: No I can think of.
