Great processor

Pros: Very easy processor to work with. I had a Core 2 Duo Extreme. This processor runs just as cool on stock cooling as my aftermarket cooler on more Core 2 Duo. Even if you like to tweek the speeds on your processor this thing is so easy to work with you can use the stock cooler and get speeds over 3 ghz..........absolute dream
Cons: Normally I like to add a negative here but I can't bring myself to do it. Even the price of this processor is superb. You get a lot for your money from this bugger.
Overall Review: The price of this processor MAY drop when AMD launches Deneb. If you have anything less than a Penryn, and have the means, get this processor. If you have a Penryn you probably won't get a huge increase in performance, but frankly this processor is too much fun to not play with.
not bad..not great

Pros: This case has some room in it. I bought this case to build my wife's system. I have a single hd in it and a 7950gx2 video card (which is not small). There is still decent room in it. You can install a couple of dvd/cd drives in it and it has a couple of face plates that will work with most drives. You do not need to remove the existing face plate off of the drive to use the pink ones included.
Cons: You need a screw driver to remove side panels. The metal is a bit flimsy and there are a few sharp edges. The back panel for the motherboard needed to be worked a bit. After removing the generic metal plug in there were a few edges that would not let the face plate for the motherboard plugs fit properly. Wasn't too much work though. No manual with the case, but didn't really need it.
Overall Review: If you really need a pink case this is a decent choice, but it is not going to win any awards.
Easy to work with

Pros: No problems with any modules. Plugged in just fine. Used the XMP on a ROG V Extreme. Had to tweek voltage just a tad. But ran several tests and was able to get 2800 with no failures. Also they don't dominate a board so you can go air cooled if you want with little fuss.
Cons: None really........it may not pan out price vs performance compared to some other kits....basically you pay extra for the extra performance...law of diminishing returns.
Overall Review: They are worth it. no hidden issues.
Almost great

Pros: There is a lot to like about this card. First from a performance standpoint. It is a 980ti and it is going to chew thru games like a hot knife thru butter. I have a 2k screen and it handles everything I throw at it. It is certainly up to performance as any 980ti would be. Next, quality. MSI has taken great care to increase their brand quality. The card looks and feels solidly built. MSI points out it uses military spec parts. I think it is bit of a marketing thing, but there is nothing flimsy or weak about the card it comes secure with the exposed slots for pci and sli covered with extra plastic. Aesthetics. The card looks great and the color scheme fits my ROG color scheme. It is not as large as some cards and has any easier time fitting my case and working with my cable management. extras. It comes with a cable to convert a 6 power to an 8 power which you need two of. The programs that are bundled with control oc'ing, monitoring and testing. It is a fairly complete suite for a card. sound. Great. Quite mode the fans don't run and when the fans spin up for gaming it is barely audible. MSI gets a big plus for this and is probably the best benefit of the card.
Cons: The biggest gripe I have is that the LED is annoying. You can turn it off but you have to have the MSI gaming app running. as soon as you turn the app off the led comes back. The led is one color, white. Most people who buy this card typically have a windowed case and want a certain look for their pc. The led sticks out like a sore thumb if it doesn't fit your case looks. MSI would get 5 eggs if it could at least be turned off at the card or if you could change colors. It may seem like a big deal, but this is an enthusiast card and needs to act and look like one. The bundled apps feel out of date interface-wise. Also the gaming app, which controls the led the most conveniently starts maximized, so you have to click on it when you start up to keep the led off or managed. Not a con, but their survey on their website is horribly translated. That doesn't add to anything confidence inspiring. If you going to do it, do it right.
Overall Review: The bottom line is that MSIs quality is stepping up and it is the major reason I considered this card. It is deadly quiet. Its size is better than most 980tis out now. If you can live with the led thing it is a card that should be considered with any of the top manufacturers. I have always been an evga customer, but this rivals anything they have as far as quality.
One of the better closed loop coolers

Pros: Very easy to assemble. Keeps my 8 Core Intel CPU cool. I overclocked my 5960x from 35 to 41 that is about as much as I can get from this cooler without going above 65c on load temps. I could squeeze out more, but I am not trying to win a race, just speed up my cpu rendering. It feels like decent quality, not flimsy. It comes pre-thermal greased with decent enough paste. That could be a con or a pro depending on your point of view. The fans are PWM and aren't terrible. Has programmable RGB Led. I was able to match up the color on my RVE board. Comes with all mounting accessories. It installed very easily the first time around. You can set fans to push or pull.
Cons: Not good enough top level multicore overclocks. If you want extreme you probably wouldn't be looking here anyway. The fans are so so. a bit flimsy and they don't line up exactly with the radiator holes.....that could be the radiator or the fans. One of my fans I could not get every screw in properly. The software that comes with it leaves much to be desired. It doesn't always seem to work as far as readings and is a bit laggy. However there are other ways to control the fans, so not that big of a deal. The fans that it comes with seem to be proprietary to this product as I could not seem to find an exact match to add on to make a push/pull combo, so you will have to buy 4 fans if you want them to match in a push/pull setup. It would also be nice for the hoses to be a little longer so you have more flexibility in a larger case.
Overall Review: The bottom line is that this is a really solid closed loop system. It is not designed or usable for hard core or even heavy long term overclocking. If you are afraid to go full water cooling system, but want to get a taste of it this may be for you. It is either a baby step towards hard core water cooling or a mid level overclocker or someone who wants to quiet things down a bit in their case. It does the job well at mid level OCing and below.
A lot to like about this powerful yet friendly MB

Pros: This is my second Rampage board. I owned the board version IV previous to this. The board gives you every option you could want when overclocking. That is what this board is precisely for, overclocking. You will find boards, less expensive that have many options, but not quite what this can do for you. This is my 10th MB from ASUS and I have only had to RMA once. I am becoming a regular fan of the products from a quality standpoint. To start off the looks are great. It has led lights on the board you can control. Its a sweet mix of black and red that looks nice in my white case. Past the cosmetic part it features some neat addons and features you don;t get with mid level cards. Like the SupremeFX audio which rivals top level add on cards. The OC panel which allows open bay overclocking tools and bay installed panel for one touch preprogrammed OCing. There is a section designed for voltage testing on the board. Not to mention there is a community dedicated to the ROG MBs and a great deal of info is to be had there. The bios is friendly enough to use. The manual is ok, but the real info on this board is to be had online at the dedicated ROG forums. If you do not intend to overclock your cpu this board is overkill to say the least. You've got to really want this board and the what it is capable of. Installing this and not overclocking is like buying a sports car just to go thru a drive thru. It will get you there but don't you want to speed down the autobahn with it instead? When you get this board home and unwrap it in eager anticipation to smell the new motherboard scent (you know what I am talking about), you sit back close your eyes and say to yourself....I've arrived.
Cons: My only qualm I had was a scratch/ding that must have happened early in the packaging process as it was under the plastic film the components come in. It was a little disappointing, but you really can't tell after installation. The manual is big, but it is not a how to guide at all. It is like giving a scalpel to a teenager and asking him to operate. Doogie Howser excepted of course. The XMP settings can be a bit touchy. It was worse on the previous version (RIVE), but this is where your research pays off. Also using the M.2 can cause problems if you are going SLI as it blocks a slot. Also, with all the onboard plug in devices that components use, an extra onboard USB 2.0 would be nice. Came up one short from the CPU cooler, OC panel and front case panel
Overall Review: Just so many things I like on this board from what I have come to expect form the Rampage series. I doubt I will ever go elsewhere unless something else over the top wows me.
