Pros: Put two of these bad boys in my Inspiron 9100. Went from 512 MB to 2 gigs. I can't even begin to describe the difference. Gaming is smooth and everything loads so much faster. There's even a drastic change in how long it takes to shut down the computer. Excellent product, excellent price.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: UPS takes too long, go FedEX.
Beautiful
Pros: This monitor is fantastic. I got this for my new gaming rig, and it's a gorgeous looking monitor. The picture is very crisp and clear, and I love the 1920x1080. I was fortunate enough not to have any dead pixels, there's no ghosting, and no bleeding. There are a lot of different preset color options, or you can set everything manually. Samsung did not disappoint.
Cons: It's got the typical Samsung finish, so its all the dust shows on it. It comes with a dust cloth though so that's pretty nice.
Overall Review: My video card came with an HDMI cable, which I used for this. If you use HDMI, make sure to go to the monitor's settings and change it to PC, otherwise you will have fuzzy text. Also, at first I didn't realize that you don't actually touch the symbol on the touch buttons. The "button" is actually right above the symbol. I love the look this creates.
Excellent board
Pros: This thing is fantastic. It's EVGA, it looks great, the BIOS is so simple to use, and everything was plugged in and ready to go in just a few minutes. Love the e-leet utility.
Cons: None to date.
Overall Review: Once funds allow it, I'll try running this thing in SLI. Current Build: Case: Antec 1200 CPU: Intel Core i7-920 Mobo: EVGA E758-A1 3-Way SLI GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 480 Memory: Corsair Dominator 6 GB @ 1600MHz SSD: Crucial M225 128 GB PSU: Corsair 850HX OS: Window 7 64-bit
What a difference
Pros: I went from a 160 GB 5400 rpm to this baby. What a difference. Boot times are a fraction of what they were, and I haven't switched to ACHI or updated to 1916, both of which should increase performance.
Cons: Price.
Overall Review: I had to buy a bay converter to put it in my desktop. I went with the SilverStone SPD08, which fit perfectly in my case. A lot of people use the ICYDOCK, but that will bottleneck your drive. Great drive
Pros: I put this in my new gaming rig, so I only use it for installation CDs. I haven't had any issues so far, and Windows 7 found it with no problem.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: It came with a CD that I never had to use. Gotta love that.
Second times the charm
Pros: Plenty of juice for everything. It's modular, which is fantastic. Came in a very sexy bag, lol.
Cons: Unfortunately my first one was DOA, so I had to take off an egg. It happens though. Comp wouldn't boot so I did the "Paperclip Test". Sure enough, it was the PSU. Corsair is great though, RMA'd and they sent a brand new one.
