Solid Product
Pros: It does what it needs to do, and it got rid of 100ft of cable that was running down my staircase. I just pluged it in hooked it up and a few seconds later I was watching netflix and my living room was connected to my server room & recording studio. You can setup a Private Group on a set of adapters to keep your roomates or others out of your network. I was also IMpressed with the transfer rate between the Adapters, I was pushing a solid 8mb/s thru very out dated wires in a old house down to my second floor. And in my situation I cannot use wireless very well because of the thick walls and floors of an old house filled with junk. I am very pleased with this product and I highly recommend it. It does exactly what it needs to do and it took longer for me to open the box then it install it.
Cons: One thing with this product you have to keep in mind is that you HAVE to install it on a free wall plug, you cannot use adapters or power strips. The quick start guide does tell you this. But I tryed it anyways and it messes everything up. the Utility disk is not compatible with Win 8, but I mostly run win server and xp x64 so problem for me there, plus you don't even have to use it. But again I feel like have to mention this to write a quality review.
Overall Review: The included network cables are of high quality, and that was more than I expected when opening the box. I am very happy that I have one less cable in my house. I also have another TP-LINK product and I am very impressed with that also.
bad router
Pros: none
Cons: drops connection on wired and wireless, has random power offs and the firmware hangs when i make new settings. I have spent days trying to get even a couple hours of use out of this item and I am very un-impressed. the bottom line is DO NOT BUY THIS ROUTER.
Overall Review: my unit looks different from the one pictured and there is a plastic bezel on the side that drives me crazy, it blocks my view of the status lights. Also the reset button is on the back, but the router also has wall mount screw holes on the back. So if you wall mount it you will have to take it down to reset it.
it works and was cheap
Pros: burns media and reads cd/dvd
Cons: none
Overall Review: came with an oem cd of apps and ect.
Decent laptop!
Pros: It fired right up and is running smooth, Mine has a WD 320GB drive and 1gb nvidia gfx. It also has gigabit lan and ok wireless. The display seems to be in great cond.. The 4 core Intel chip is running smooth and the temps are good, I can't wait to max out the ram and see what this thing can do! So far the battery seems fine and the power adapter was brand new. I was able to Activate windows, so that means that it's a real OEM version supplied by Joy Systems. This was a big deal for me because I hate win 10 and tossed on never10 right away. And that was my main reason ( other than price ) to get this laptop. Overall I consider this a good buy, it's a lot of features for little money and if it gets stolen or destroyed I am out so little.
Cons: I ordered this on a tuesday, the order went thru on a wednesday. It didn't even ship until friday and finally the next friday I got it. After spending 10's of 1000's with new egg over the last 10+yrs I expected better service. It's shown with a Esata port, mine does not have it. Bottom line is - one egg for the keyboard button missing and the sloppy handling of my order. If i was not so impressed with the laptop (even missing the red button and the huge chip) I would of asked for some kind of credit or complained in general with the service that I received.
Overall Review: My model has a stock keyboard that is in good shape, It is missing the red keyboard button and has a LARGE chip out of the front plastic. My model has USB 3, wow! But again it only has three usb ports ( one 2.0 and the other two 3 ) which four is kinda required. The model I received is the T430s and some of those refurbs are much much more that what I paid for this. Would I recommend this, yes and no. If you are a computer guy/girl and need a cheap machine that you can unpack and rock n roll with then heck yeah buy it. If you are expecting this unit to be perfect buy new, It's gonna need a little bit of setup and a good cleaning. But your reward is a cheap laptop with a good battery that will hold up to a couple years of use.
Seems like a decent board
Pros: Price, Features, and a hole lotta USB ports! 6 SATA and sexy red & black finish.
Cons: none so far, I am holding my breath!
Overall Review: for the money and that it was socket AM3/AM3+ this was the best board for me. It took my existing chip and 16gb of cheap ram. It's been on everyday since I built it and does seem like a solid board. the included SATA cables are very nice. Let's see if I can get my Rebate back.
Classic design at a great price
Pros: cheap! works great and was easy to setup.
Cons: none
Overall Review: I am very happy with this router
Poor Seller! Damaged Items, Missing Items! and it took almost a month to get this junk!
Items missing, Items having defect in manufacturing, and just damaged items! The tracking number was impossible to track and the package took almost a month for it to arrive. Communication with the seller was a joke. Trying to contact newegg to get a refund for the missing and damaged items.
My item was shipped fast and the quality was good
Good seller, my cable was shipped fast and it was cheap in price but good quality.
Good Seller, My item was shipped fast and it was good quality!
I ordered one cable from them and it was great, good price and well made. I ordered another one because I was so happy with the first. I will be making future orders from this seller!
