Antec NeoECO C NeoECO 620C 620W ATX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: -Quiet -Long cables. Able to route behind mobo tray and still reach cpu connectors in CM690 II. -Price -Fast rebate (see other)

Cons: -No power cable -Not modular ^Both of these things are well known, just have to plan ahead.

Overall Review: Mainly sharing for my rebate experience. I ordered the ps on 12/18. I sent out the rebate within a couple days of delivery and received my prepaid card 1/15. I always make a point to do exactly as the directions say, and generally have a good experience with MIR's. Gateway Desktop PC SX2110G-UW308 (DT.GDYAA.001) AMD E1-1200 4GB DDR3 500GB HDD AMD Radeon HD 7310 Windows 8

Pros: -Shipped with 6gb of ram & E1-1500 (advertised as 4gb & E1-1200). As nice as it was to get more than I was expecting there is no way I will ever utilize more than 4gb with this processor at the helm. -Does not look refurbished, everything still has the protective plastic on it -Keyboard is surprisingly nice -Excellent price. If you want to run Windows you can't build a pc for this cheap. -HDMI out (allows sound through monitor & better image quality than vga) -Low power consumption for always-on applications

Cons: -Processor is weak, but I knew this going into it. -No integrated wireless (USB adapters can be had for <$10) -Takes a long time to update to Windows 8.1 (like a day-long project with 15mbps internet). You have to go through a lot of Windows Updates in order for it to be eligible for the 8.1 update in the Windows store. Don't try to let 8.1 download and install by itself. If you're not there to accept the terms when it reboots it reverts everything back to 8 and you have to repeat the process.

Overall Review: -I would not recommend this as an HTPC. It struggles playing HD youtube videos. -I purchased to use mainly as a remote Quickbooks Pro 2012 server . Purchasing another copy of Quickbooks would have cost more than buying this pc. (In case anyone wants to do the same, this solution will not allow one company file to be worked on simultaneously, you need a multi-user quickbooks version to do so). -I will also use it for home storage and backup of my other pc's, essentially a NAS but a fully functional pc. It appears that it will serve these two functions well, and it was a very cost effective alternative to a dedicated NAS. I haven't opened it up to see if there are additional sata ports. My storage expansion is going to be a usb drive I have lying around. It does have a dvd drive which I'd assume is sata, so if you do not need the optical drive there is at least room for one more disc. -I wrote this review on the pc. It is definitely noticeably different when compared to my 3rd gen i5 @4.2 with an ssd, but it is still a functional pc. It's a good child/grandma pc.

Dell UltraSharp U2412M 24" Full HD 1920 x 1200 60Hz 8ms DisplayPort VGA DVI-D 4xUSB 2.0 Pivot Swivel Height Adjustable LED Backlit IPS Widescreen LCD Monitor
Dell UltraSharp U2412M 24" Full HD 1920 x 1200 60Hz 8ms DisplayPort VGA DVI-D 4xUSB 2.0 Pivot Swivel Height Adjustable LED Backlit IPS Widescreen LCD Monitor

Pros: -Crisp display -Professional design -Great stand -1900x1200

Cons: -Somewhat bulky compared to more modern LED's -To go portrait the monitor hit's the base unless you're careful. I scratched it within an hour of unpacking. -Was hoping portrait would be more useful. -It's expected, but it came out of the box far too bright. I quickly switched it to text, and while it doesn't produce the greatest colors in text mode, it is much easier on the eyes when working 11 hour days with... text.

Overall Review: We finally convinced work to set us up with triple monitors, so they ordered these as the third one. Needless to say it pushed the other monitors to the side and became the primary. 1900x1200 is great for work related tasks, as we work a lot in pdf's and excel files where the extra height is useful compared to a 1080. 2 documents can comfortable fit side by side on a single display, something I've only experienced before with my personal 27".

MSI Radeon HD 6450 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 Low Profile Ready Graphics Card R6450-MD1GD3/LP

Pros: -Cheap (rebates offered often) -Works

Cons: -Driver is a little glitchy in Win 8 Pro. Occasionally screen flashes and I get a notification that the driver recovered from an error.

Overall Review: Built a new pc and robbed the graphics card out of my old one. This works perfectly to keep that one alive as a secondary pc (no onboard video). Haven't done much gaming, but it does run Counterstrike Source smooth (as it should, it's an old game) and my girlfriend has played plenty of Sims 3 on it lately (1680x1050 lag free).

Pros: Works

Cons: Somewhat loud, but fine for infrequent use. It'll only be used to install windows and some programs, occasionally ripping a cd. If your a heavy user you'll probably be getting a blu-ray burner anyways.

Overall Review: -Needed a SATA drive for a new build. Have only used it to install windows, but it works so far. I really only needed a dvd drive, but for $5 more it's nice to have the option to burn media.

Pros: -Works -In the pictures the heatspreaders looks obnoxious to me, but in person they are much more attractive. -Not low profile, but does fit under my hyper 212 evo on an ASRock z77 pro3

Cons: They don't make me breakfast.
