Good card for HTPC

Pros: Purchased this card from Newegg, installed it in my HTPC running 1.8ghz Opteron (939), 1 gb RAM, and 500gb WD drive on an Asus A8V-VM SE MB - obviously not a high power system. The HD3450 has played DVD's and video files without any dropped frames so far. Of course it is silent since it is passively cooled, and I haven't noticed any excessive heat eminating from the heatsink. So far, I think it is an excellent card for the money, but am looking forward to putting it to the test with high resolution video files. (Don't know 3d performance, as I have no intention to play games on this box.)
Cons: Does not come with a DVI to HDMI adapter.
Overall Review: I have the HTPC connected to a Mitsu 65" DLP via the DVI port.
Excellent monitor for the price

Pros: Can't beat the value of this monitor at this price. Excellent screen - NO dead pixels. Backlight is extremely bright - you will have to turn it down. Overall, an excellent monitor for the price, you will just have to tweak it to set it up correctly for your video card and ambient lighting situation.
Cons: Settings are very skewed out of the box - you need to adjust the sharpness down to less than 30 to eliminate the ghosting around small text at the default 1920x1080 resolution. Once you do that, even small text is nice and sharp. Stand does not adjust up/down - that is obviously where the cut some of the cost to make it affordable.
Overall Review: Overall, a very good value for the money. Just make sure to invest some time tweaking the settings once you get it hooked up to make it perform well.
Nice board!

Pros: Just paired this board up with a i7 920 in a new PC build. Excellent quality, came with a lot of nice extras (SATA cables, etc.). The board booted right up on the first try. I love the "Dummy O.C." for a quick overclock. Got me from 2.7ghz stock to 3.2 with no effort!
Cons: Pricey
Great case

Pros: Just built a new PC with this case. Very impressed for the cost. Lots of room, nice cable guide in the inside. The drive rails worked fine (although I did use screws on my CD & Blu Ray drives, as well as the CF drive.) Attractive look and good quiet fans.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I relocated one of the fans to another spot up top - there are about 6 possible locations to mount the large fans.
Excellent Drive

Pros: Installed it in a new i7 920 box as the system drive. Loaded Win 7 Beta 64 - drive is very fast and quiet. Not completely silent, but it is very tolerable.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Price needs to come down substantially before I buy another.
It works

Pros: It's a cable - it works. It is well worth the cost, and performs perfectly. This is what HDMI cables should cost. Do not waste your money on a more expensive cable.
Cons: None
