Nice

ASUS TUF Gaming X570-PRO (WiFi 6) AMD AM4 (3rd Gen Ryzen ATX Gaming Motherboard (PCIe 4.0, 2.5Gb LAN, BIOS Flashback, HDMI, USB 3.2 Gen 2, Addressable Gen 2 RGB Header and Aura Sync)
ASUS TUF Gaming X570-PRO (WiFi 6) AMD AM4 (3rd Gen Ryzen ATX Gaming Motherboard (PCIe 4.0, 2.5Gb LAN, BIOS Flashback, HDMI, USB 3.2 Gen 2, Addressable Gen 2 RGB Header and Aura Sync)

Pros: at low RPM, the SB fan is totally silent, and its possible to control it with outside PWM software

Cons: Really wish it had some temp sensor inputs. also, the USB C front panel connector is way too close to the 24 pin power connector, which its a pain. Not sure the cause but the UFEI (?) bios is SUPER laggy for me with a mouse, making keyboard control the only option

Overall Review: Great set of features, for a not-totally-crazy price

Most Critical Review

SO many steps to get it.

AMD Free Gift - Play Halo Infinite with 1 Month of Xbox Game Pass
AMD Free Gift - Play Halo Infinite with 1 Month of Xbox Game Pass

Pros: none

Cons: They rely on the number of steps required so people just dont bother. You have to download some software, then register...ect I would be shocked if the software doesn't harvest your tasty data for resale.

Overall Review: Its free and I feel like I was ripped off.

Does what its suposed to do, but it souldn't be required.

Phanteks PH-SDBKT_01 SSD Bracket For Single SSD , Specific for Phanteks Enthoo Series Cases
Phanteks PH-SDBKT_01 SSD Bracket For Single SSD , Specific for Phanteks Enthoo Series Cases

Pros: It hold the drive, and fits the brackets for the Evolv X

Cons: Why is this not included? Its pretty lame that we have to purchase this separately. It not even like its high quality, its a cheap stamped sheet metal bracket. Its got some, not sharp, but not smooth edges.

Overall Review: Pretty lame that its not included with cases.

Its a 3080...But Gigabyte has no QA!

GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 3080 XTREME WATERFORCE WB 10G (rev. 2.0) Graphics Card, WATERFORCE Water Block Cooling System, 10GB 320-bit GDDR6X, GV-N3080AORUSX WB-10GD Rev2.0 Video Card (LHR)
GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 3080 XTREME WATERFORCE WB 10G (rev. 2.0) Graphics Card, WATERFORCE Water Block Cooling System, 10GB 320-bit GDDR6X, GV-N3080AORUSX WB-10GD Rev2.0 Video Card (LHR)

Pros: It works, and its real. When properly thermal pasted, the water block does a good job of cooling. at 100% load it doesn't go above 47C with a 360mm rad and lowish fan speed.

Cons: Gigabyte doesn't have any QC. When I got this card, it ran REALLY hot, running it at 45% load, the core got to 65C with a hot spot temperature of 105C. I decided to re-thermal paste the card, as that seemed the most likely problem. Turns out, ALL the screws on the card were only just finger tight, like, tight enough to not rattle, but not torqued down at all. Because of this, the thermal paste was making like 30% contact. Repasted, and the card runs much cooler, but I can now hear the really awful coil whine, now that the case fans aren't at 100%.

Overall Review: Awful QC, and awful coil whine. This will be my last Gigabyte product for quite some time. With how much these cost, do yourself a favor and don't take the gamble, go with a better company.

Nearly a perfect case

Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X PH-ES518XTG_DAG01 Anthracite Gray Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X PH-ES518XTG_DAG01 Anthracite Gray Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: This is subjective, but its beautiful! When all was said and done, I had a really clean build. - The basement was perfect for hiding the mess of power supply cables, and the back cable hiding flaps are amazing! just 2 clicks and all the mess is gone. - Little bin of screws! such a small thing, but really awesome! - They seem to sell replacement parts for this case, (windows/front/top panels). - The removable top makes mounting fans sooo easy! - Water cooling fill and drain port holes. Tho, it would have been nice if the fill port wasnt on the removable fan portion...

Cons: I didn't really have any major issues, just a bunch of small things. - I wish the front basement cutout was a tiny bit bigger, because I got a Hardware Labs Black Ice® Nemesis® GTR 420mm rad, and it didnt fit by like 1/16", which was so sad. So if you want to put a 140mm fan rad, make sure you measure first. - The little black plastic GPU power hole cover looks kinda dumb. id rather just have a hole. You can't really remove it, because it looks worse without. - The black plastic "phanteks" covers that slide also look kinda dumb. Sure, they cover up a mess of holes and such, but they don't really match the aesthetic of the rest of the case. - The rear 2.5" drive bays should just be included, like honestly, having to order them extra is just dumb. I would 100% trade all the 3.5" drive cages for the 2.5". they are kinda cheap looking sheet metal anyway (the 2.5, not the 3.5) - The GPU support bracket. I feel like its better than nothing, but more of a novelty. It should have a little more adjustment range though, as it almost didn't even hold the GPU. There could have been a better method with holding the other end I feel. - The power supply cutout. Honestly it should be smaller or just deleted all together. - The USB C motherboard cable is a PITA, its so stiff, and the connector pops out super easy. I know there isn't a lot to be done about this, but its an annoyance. - The built in fan PWM splitter thing. Not sure how its suposed to work, but for me it doesn't seem to pass on PWM (made sure motherboard is in PWM not DC mode). - Would be nice if there were a few holes for pump/res mounting on the bottom. - The front fan/rad screw slots are a little flimsy, because the slots are so long. The power supply bracket thumbscrews always seem to be grinding themselves in when you are installing the power supply. All the above are trivial complaints I have, and the only real complaints are that there is no reset button, and the airflow could use to be better. The Evolv X seems like a huge improvement compared to the earlier one, but it would be nice if they went further. This could be easily solved by selling a replacement front/top panel that have larger/more cutouts for more airflow.

Overall Review: Don't take the longer list of cons as this case not being good, its an amazing case, I just thought to list all my annoyances with it. Clearly a lot of thought and care went into designing this case, by people who have actual experience with building computers.

mostly hype

SilenX EFX-12-15 Effizio Quiet Case Fan
SilenX EFX-12-15 Effizio Quiet Case Fan

Pros: Does move a fair amount of air, feels pretty solid

Cons: rubber mounts are hard to put in correctly while quiet in open air, as soon as you add any kind of restriction (dust filter) gets much louder, still quieter than old 39db fans, not the advertised 15db for sure

Overall Review: just not as good as corsair air series fans
