Pros: Solidly built. Works as USB extender cable, as advertised.
Cons: None so far.
Steer clear of this unit!

Pros: Zero.
Cons: The supplied CD drivers, and the latest from the vendor's website, both indicated that my adapter was an "...illegal duplication of Bluetooth Device Address and license key, this copy of BlueSoleil is therefore not eligible to receive the full range of upgrades and product support. It is running in evaluation mode now and only 5MB data can be transferred." It arrived in OEM packaging! This was on an XP-Home system. I installed on my work PC (XP-Pro) just to see if got same message. It didn't, and I was actually able to transfer data from a co-worker's bluetooth enabled PC. What I didn't realize, however, was that the installed drivers corrupted my PC's connection manager software (used to VPN into client's systems)! And to make matters worse, when I used Windows checkpoint restore to try and recover--it had no effect! I couldn't believe it. I had to uninstall the Soleil drivers, then uninstall the various pieces of my client connection software, then reinstall the VPN.
Overall Review: Newegg to the rescue. I did the standard RMA on line, but when I called to complain about having to pay the shipping and restock fees, which seemed like insult on top on injury, they immediately offered to replace the unit with a more expensive, brand name unit, or refund everything. Newegg has phenomenal customer service. Way to go Newegg!
Works as expected

Pros: Plugged in the USB cable, power indicator light comes on. Connect to computer VGA port, TV HDMI port. Works.
Cons: None so far.
Speedy compared to an HDD

Pros: Breathes new life into an older system. On an Asus X200CA with Celeron 1007U I can power up and be completely logged into Win8.1 in about 12 seconds, maybe faster. Everything else is snappier too.
Cons: I couldn't get Corsair's SSD Toolbox cloning software to work. It found the Corsair drive in the external drive enclosure okay. Found the Asus' HDD. Indicated both were clone-able and re-sizeable. But the "clone" button wouldn't activate and a message indicated "no drives available for cloning" or something similar. I downloaded a free cloning program, Macrium Reflect, which worked perfectly and performed the clone and resize.
Works as advertised

Pros: Easy setup, nice GUI to work with it.
Cons: None so far.
Does the job

Pros: Works as advertised.
Cons: None. It's a cable. It works.
