DATA data Data DATA Batman!!! Great SSD!
Pros: Price- $119. Fast- Write: 508MB/s. Read: 296MB/s.
Cons: None. Great SSD.
Overall Review: I have all my SSDs plugged into a PCIe 2.0 x2 sata III card. Supa' fast! Side note:: JUST IN CASE anyone has issues getting ANY drive to show up in windows-> Remember to go to Disk Management and format the drive for use.
Pros: Bought 2 which have worked FLAWLESSLY for 2 years. The drives have been good to me!
Cons: One just died this morning, just under the 2 year mark.
Overall Review: We'll see how their 5 year Limited Warranty handles this! I hope they can save my data!!
Best Bang for your Buackroos.
Pros: -Card offers ridiculous performance for the price. ($185 after tax and rebate) -Runs cool. I range between 34c (idle) to 69c (load) with the fans set at 70%. -Quiet cooling. You won't start to distinguish the sound until 70% fan. (%70 is 3500rpm on the fans). -Offers an option for 4K up-scaling on my 1080p TV that looks amazing while holding smooth frame rate. -High frame rate on maxed out settings: Hittman, BFBC2, UE4 Engine (DX12). Also ran these in up-scaled 4K and looked great. -Overall a very solid & very fast card.
Cons: None. It's a great card.
Overall Review: (Purchased this card as a temporary holdover while waiting for the next AMD series with HBM and 14nm GPU.) ZERO issues with heat/stutter/crashing/coil whine/noise, etc. For anyone having issues, try the new AMD or the new Vulkan drivers that just came out to see if that solves any issues you're having. Side note: I have a feeling that some people are using the Overdrive feature to get their GPU from idle 755mhz to the advertised 980mhz because they think the card comes under-clocked from the factory. It DOESN'T. The card scales down the GPU to 755mhz when idle, and ramps it to 980mhz when gaming. So if you're clicking away in Overdrive, what you're actually doing is increasing the idle BASELINE frequency, so when the GPU actually ramps up in game, it's going WAY over the 980mhz and is going to overheat as all processors do. Suggestion: If you use the Overdrive, ALSO run GPU-Z to see what the core speed will actually be under load. (The above mentioned will be the cause for your hardware issues and a bad experience if you're doing this.) I have the same baseline system I built in 2009 with basic upgrades over time and it still flies. Here are the Specs::: ::Motherboard- ASUS M4A785TD-V EVO AM3 ::CPU- AMD Phenom II X4 925 Deneb 2.8ghz. (OCed to 3.4 with air cooling and heat pipes) ::Memory- 8GB G.SKILL Ripjaws 240-Pin DDR3 1600 ::Raid Card- I/O Crest PCIe 2x Raid card with multiple SSDs. ::Case- Corsair Vengeance Series C70 Military Green Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case (6 silent fans for great air flow) You can see this system is going on 7 Years, and is not the newest of the new. It still handles any and all tasks thrown at it (SSDs will do that). Additionally, motherboard has PCIe 2.0 x16 with this Radeon R9 380 which is PCIe 3.0. Runs great even so. With my older system specs, and slower onboard PCIe, the performance has been great with this card. So comparatively, if you have a better setup than I have listed above, you can probably get a feel for how much better your experience will be over mine, and I'm very pleased. (Will be upgrading to AM4)
I'm awesome.
Pros: Allowed me to write this review. Puts words on my screen. Has a sleek look. Durable. Price.
Cons: None.
Here is a quick reminder
Pros: Great Card.
Cons: Awesome Card!
Overall Review: Just as a reminder, to those who buy this card. Leave your CCC Settings to DEFAULT, and allow your games to run their own settings you select. If you have conflicting settings, then every card, Both ATI and NVidia will not run properly, and have poor performance. Just wanted to remind you all that. I fiddled with the settings enough to observe this occurrence. So leave CCC alone and let the games do their MAXED settings and there will be no conflicts between the two settings of CCC and the Game itself. A Seriously Good Card! Buy two for the price of one Nvidia, and get WAY more performance.
Decent fan
Pros: This thing moves a LOT of air. Hey it's a fan! :D I actually like it!
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Makes noise as a fan should! I may start using larger fans because they sound hush-hush and all that. :) Great, FAST shipping with newegg!
