The Samsung STORY Station 3.5’’ desktop drive is built for advanced users who demand fast transfer speed, massive capacity and reliable data backup and security without sacrificing design. Its minimalist design was inspired by retro electronics and combines a grey, brushed aluminum casing with the logo stenciled in red. The drive features three operating modes (idle, sleep, and suspend) for energy saving and has ventilation slits for heat dissipation to ensure reliable performance. It also comes pre-loaded with Samsung Auto Backup, SecretZone, and SafetyKey for data protection. The STORY Station is available from 1TB to 2TB capacities with multiple interfaces including USB 2.0, eSATA and USB 3.0.

SuperSpeed USB 3.0 InterfaceSuperSpeed USB 3.0 delivers up to 5Gbps bandwidth which is around 10 times the bandwidth of the current USB 2.0, allowing for ultra-fast transfers of high definition movies and videos, as well as various other large capacity file formats.
