The DataLocker DL1500V3 is an encrypted 1.5TB USB 3.0 external drive that delivers rock solid protection for your sensitive data and private files. It uses hardware 256-bit AES crypto engine to encrypt your drive's content. When it's connected, a user-defined passcode is required to unlock the drive, which can be entered on the backlit touch screen keypad. The keypad presents the digits in randomized order to prevent surface analysis for fingertip lifting, and a self-destruct mode protects against brute force attack. This drive is easy to use, and can be configured and managed via the onboard touch screen display, no computer required. Plus, a removable silicone protect guard is included, providing extra protection against bumps and shocks.
256-Bit ASE EncryptionThe DataLocker DL3 utilizes 256-bit AES encryption operating in XTS mode to fully encrypt your drive’s contents.
Added SecurityThe rotating keypad prevents surface analysis for fingerprint or pattern examination, and the self-destruct mode wipes the encryption key after a customizable set number of failed password attempts. You can enforce strong password rules for authentication, with non sequential, repeating, alpha + numeric, min 8 characters. And with DataLocker Link software, you can electronically pair your DL3 to a specific computer – preventing your data from being accessed outside of your control (not available on Mac OS).
On-Device ManagementAll encryption, administration and authentication performed on the DL3 unit, 100% platform independently and no computer required.
Virtual CD FeatureAllows you to mount an ISO disc image. The virtual drive will behave just like a physical CD/DVD drive.
Two User RolesSupports an administrator password (full permissions, set policy, recover data), and a user password (limited permissions).
