Pros: The quality seems to be better than most inexpensive power supplies that I have used in the past. Quiet for the most part.
Cons: I have had about a dozen of these and have only had a problem with 2 of them. One sparked when I turned it on for the first time. One I was able to get it warrantied through newegg as it was within the 30 days. The other I am trying to get it warrantied through the manufacture. I have tried to submit the rma request online and have never gotten any response (3 weeks of waiting). I am currently on the phone trying to talk to someone and have not been able to get a hold of anyone. The first time I called I got hung up on at 12 minutes of waiting on hold. This time I got hung up on at the 9 minute mark.
Overall Review: What good is a warranty if you can't actually get a hold of anyone that will honor it. I will not be buying any more from this manufacture. I went to the facebook page for the company and it looks like I am not alone. I would suggest you read those comments before you make a decision on weather to purchase a DiabloTek product.
Pros: It only took two days for a standard shipping to my place in New York. I installed Diablo400w onto my ASUS AMD64 AthlonX2 (dual core) without a problem. Its dual fans are smooth and quiet. A ps with dual fans is better than those ps with only 1 fan. For the price it is the best ps I have ever installed. My ASUS tower has been running for a week nonstop now w/o a problem. Try one for yourself!
Overall Review: Newegg is always my top online store. If I need something and Newegg has it, I just buy it from them. Best deal, shipping and customer service. Thanks to Ashley C in Cali :)
Pros: Seems solidly built, adequate number of connectors.
Cons: I couldn't believe it.... this RMA unit #2 is dead also (see my review below). Again, both PS testers totally dark, one first flickers the 12V rail and alarms then goes dead. Just to make triple sure I plugged it into the motherboard and nada, even the CPU fan didn't spin up although the power lamp on the board lit up.
Overall Review: Amazing. Two borked units in a row. Ok, Diablotek, no more of your products! I also notice that Diablotek evidently doesn't think it important to monitor Newegg's reviews, there is silence from their end. At least some other manufacturers of components such as Rosewill and others will post in with thoughts or suggestions.
Pros: Great price. Included screws & power cord
Has lots of Sata connectors. The cables were plenty long. It's whisper quiet. I hardly hear it running. I will be buying this brand from now on for any budget build.
Cons: None yet.
Overall Review: I'm guessing the few bad reviews this product received may have been due to damages during transit.
The housing was plenty sturdy. It had a fair weight to it. Those of you who say the housing is flimsy I say Your not supposed to stand on it. Your supposed to put it in your computer and that's it.
This product was pack well. I was really surprised at the quality considering the price.
Pros: Nice cheap power supply, does the job nicely. WOW...
Cons: Wasn't free or 600 watts..... NONE.....
Overall Review: I replaced a 600Watt power supply with this unit and was very impressed that it handle the video card and other systems power needs very well. The price was a great buy and when my other power supply died. I didn't have much money to buy a new 600Watt supply so I settle for cheap and was going to replace it at tax time. After using it this long I'm not planing on replacing it till it needs replacing and would gladly replace it with another Diablotek. Wasn't very familiar with this company but I feel this is a good solid company for PC parts, or at least power supplies. Cant wait to build a new rig and buy an actual pricey power supply from this company.
Pros: I been a pc tech for 15 years and always look for quality parts for my customers so on december 4 2008 I bought this PS for a customer and today oct 11 2011 it's still working know that quality.
Overall Review: i'm order another one for another build.
Sufficient for standard computers.
3 year warranty.
Cons: It feels very cheaply made.
Ran warmer than most power supplies i have dealt with.
It died in 1 month...
Overall Review: I'm hoping the RMA process isn't going to be a pain...
