the picture is misleading, is this the back-lit remote or the standard?

I purchased two of the model RC65X remote controls.
There is no back lighting except for the small center box at the top that indicates what mode the remote is in. The modes are direct TV, AV1, AV2, TV. This box lights up whenever a button on the remote lights up. (CORRECTION: THE BUTTONS DO NOT LIGHT UP WHEN PUSHED)
