What method is used to power the receiver and sensors?
Both the receiver and sensor can be powered by batteries or Mirco-USB. Three AA batteries are required for receiver and three AAA batteries are required for sensor.
How do the sensors work?
The sensor is a scanning sensor that uses naked eye invisible infrared light. It is able to quickly recognize the movement of objects within the sensing range. It is recommended for indoor use.
Is there a limit to the transmission distance of the receiver?
The receiver has been tested in the laboratory to have a transmission distance of up to 280m/918ft in an open area, or 150m/500ft in an indoor area with many walls, doors and windows, is suitable for use in most residential areas.
