INTRODUCING THE EVGA B3 POWER SUPPLIES

EVGA Bronze power supplies have become synonymous with industry-leading stability, performance, and value. With the B3 power supplies, EVGA now adds fully modular cables, the ECO Intelligent Thermal Control System, even tighter voltage regulation (<2%), and a Long Life Sleeve Bearing Fan for ultra-quiet performance with an increased lifespan. Even more impressive, these power supplies continue to get shorter compared to its predecessors. Backed by EVGA's 5 Year Global Warranty, the EVGA B3 lineup will give you peace of mind for years to come.

Join the evolution of the Bronze age.

BIG PACKAGE, SMALL SIZE

No, it's not magic. Despite adding more features and increased performance, the EVGA B3 lineup is shorter than most of its competitors. At only 150mm long (450B3, 550B3, 650B3) and 160mm long (750B3, 850B3), you'll notice the extra space in your case, but you won't miss any performance or functionality.

SILENCE DOESN'T HAVE TO BE GOLDEN

The EVGA B3 power supplies feature a Long Life Sleeve Bearing Fan, resulting in quieter operation and a longer lifespan. Alternatively, flip on the EVGA ECO mode for fully silent operation at low to medium loads.

NEXT GEN PERFORMANCE

Featuring Japanese capacitors on the mainboard, the B3 lineup takes the already efficient B2 series and makes it even better with near-Silver efficiency and less than 2% ripple. These power supplies have up to 88% efficiency!

FULLY MODULAR DESIGN

Use only the cables you need, reducing cable clutter and improving case airflow. Available on all B3 models.

Great PSU 7/15/2019 11:58:14 AM

Pros: Fantastic PSU for the price. Fully modular always helps with tighter MicroATX cases. Comes with plenty of cables and no issues replacing faulty PSU in wife's older system. Extremely quiet as well.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Would recommend these for sure for price and quality of product.

Trash Item & unfriendly warranty process 5/31/2019 3:56:45 PM

Pros: Nothing

Cons: - Broken after 6 months, normal use frequency.
(compare with my Thermaltake Smart Series 700W SLI, use in the lab computer for 3-years never shot down)
- 5-year warranty, but you need to pay the shipping fee. (Power supply is very heavy...)
- unfriendly repair policy, when you apply for repair, they only keep your information for 14 days.

Great Product, Item came damaged, and with one missing cable 12/8/2018 9:48:42 AM

Pros: I was looking forward to getting my brand new PC working the moment I had gotten all my PC package looked to be in great conditions. EVGA never fails with bringing out the best items to their customers. I will always without a doubt purchase power supplies from EVGA.

Cons: Well I would like to say that upon the deliverance of the product the item itself was presentable, but... once I had open the packaging the power supply was scratched up I had pulled out all the wires, and one wire was missing which was a VGA wire in order for me to perhaps have an SLI compatible graphics card I would need that extra wire. Now here's where it was upsetting once I had cable managed everything in my PC case and my PC was grounded and made sure that no static shock were to ever happen in the process of building my PC I flipped on the power supply, and turns out the power supply did not want to turn on I made sure of that everything I had connected to and from the mobo to the power supply was done correctly but nothing. Trust me this is not "the end of the world" but perhaps a little testing from the factory state of the product can be done. I did test the power supply on another PC before giving up on it but nothing. So again this is not me giving a bad review to EVGA but simply taking precautions and making sure that the product works before sending it out. Thank you EVGA for all the great products you have but one out of the millions of products you have had failed on me.

Overall Review: Would love to return the item, but get the same item different power supply though.

Great PSU For Bargain Price. (be careful of the eco switch though) 4/19/2018 7:38:59 PM

Pros: - Fully modular for under $90. Even better if you get it on sale
- EVGA quality and customer support is by far some of the best in the pc part industry
- Comes with more cables than you will probably need, so you will have extras. Extra cables are good in my opinion

Cons: - Eco switch on back was causing me issues when my machine would go into sleep mode. My advice; set eco on, and forget it.
- Only 80 plus bronze... But for under $90, its not worth notching an egg for that, just an observation.

Overall Review: - I was to the point of completely tearing down my build when I ran into an issue where my pc would not wake from sleep unless I reset the psu every time. I troubleshooted for days trying to find the cause, ram sticks, mobo, graphics card, reset bios and cmos, turning on and off windows settings. All of which did not help. The last thing I did was turn on the eco switch on psu. I originally had it in the off position as I was trying to make sure I had all available power for my overclocked parts. Turns out, it doesn't make a difference. Just set the eco switch on and leave it.
- Honestly, this is an awesome PSU for the price! With a fully modular design and 80 plus efficiency, you cant really ask for more at this price point. If you want a bit more or better 80 plus rating, then it may be worth spending a bit more for a different EVGA unit.

TL;DR: AWESOME PSU. Leave the eco switch turned on to avoid any weird system sleep issues.

Works great, even for my OC. 4/4/2018 9:37:55 PM

Pros: -Quiet.
-Modularity is really nice. If you aren’t using a cable you can simply leave it out of your case. Conversely when I upgraded my GPU it needed an extra 6-pin and it was easy to grab the extra cable and add it to the PSU.
-No issues powering a pretty high-end pc including:
-i7 7700k @ 4.8 ghz, 1.25 core voltage.
-GTX 1080 TI (not overclocked).
-Captain 240 EX AIO.

Cons: -None so far. As anything that runs as expected, once it is installed you don’t really think about it.

Overall Review: A few of my friends tried to warn me against going with this B3 model. I knew I wanted something 700w or higher, and something from a trusted brand. I was told a 750 G3 would be the way to go.
I opted for the B3 anyway as I was tired of spending hundreds of dollars every time I upgraded anything. I am glad I did. For such a great price you get full modularity and I would say this is capable of powering some of the most high end builds without issue. My pc has some pretty hefty components and this PSU has never given me a single problem.
