Yes, indeed it does. I downloaded the GeForce Experience drivers and software from the Nvidia website, and it included the ShadowPlay, which seems to work quite well for me on my relatively middle-of-the-pack machine.

Will this fit into my alienware x51, and is it compatible with my i5 4440 cpu?

I'm assuming you have the NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 750Ti 2GB GDDR5 02G-P4-3753-KR (6.7 x 1.5 x 4.4 inches ; 1.8 pounds) in the Alienware X51 now.  Best to confirm the exact card.

The EVGA 04G-P4-3962-KR GeForce GTX 960 4GB measurements are 6.8 x 4.4 x 2 inches ; 1.5 pounds.  This card is 0.1 longer and 0.5 thicker than the 750Ti.

It would be best to confirm you have the extra space in the computer chassis, as well as the exact GTX 750Ti, as the X51 has a small chassis.

I am taking a guess the GTX 960 will fit, as it is an option in the computer build on the site.  However, confirm and take into consideration the PSU may not handle the 960 (see below).

The GTX 750Ti 02G-P4-3753-KR requires a 300W Power Supply and draws 60 Watts, while the GTX 960 requires a 400W Power Supply and draws 120 Watts.

You may need a better PSU for the GTX 960, confirm your existing PSU can handle the additional draw.

As far as your CPU is concerned, the i5 should be fine.

It depends on your system.  550 watts is a LOT of power - probably more than your system is capable of drawing.  The problem is the 12-volt rail, which is what your CPU and GPU primarily draw from, is usually the limiting factor.  Check your power supply's 12-volt amperage rating.  This card pulls a maximum of 120 watts.  Your CPU probably draws between 80 and 125 watts; there are a number of ways to find your CPU's maximum current draw.  Using Ohm's Law (and 125 watts), you're already over 20 amps.  Then you have to factor any peripherals in your system (hard drives, optical drives).  A good thumb-rule is a minimum 50% more than your CPU + GPU load (until you get into more serious builds where it's impractical).  If your system pulls 20 amps off the 12-volt rail, get a power supply that supplies at least 30 amps.

Not really sure what your current power supply is rated for but, this card is usually good in any PSU that supplies 450 watts or higher.  The spec sheet will say for sure.  It is a great card for the money, that's for sure.

I like the specs of this card (I will be running a 3-display setup) but am concerned about heat.  Is there software available where I can underclock (or just turn down the clock on) this card?  Thanks!

EVGA includes a disk with their own clock/voltage tuning software (EVGA Precision), or you can download it directly from EVGA for free. That being said, you really do not need to be worried about heat. While the fan does not kick in unless the card is under stress (resulting in slightly high idle temps) it does a pretty good job when it needs to. You'll have a very hard time overheating it with normal usage.
