Great but missing some essentials 6/10/2017 1:01:59 PM

Pros: Color scheme is great (Looks like a F-117 Nighthawk)
Nifty LED readout of your temps in Celsius of course
Reset and Power Button built onto the Motherboard
Premium Thick IO Plate
BIOS is simple and effective
Everything that I've overclocked so far has been absolutely stable

Cons: Missing Wifi (Can be added through M2 slot on the bottom of the Motherboard)
USB 3.0 Speeds rather than 3.1 (Do any other Z170 ITX boards come with 3.1?)
M2 Adapter Cannot be used for SSD's
Capacitors sit very close to CPU and can interfere with the mounting of certain CPU coolers (Corsair Hydro H60 in my case)

Overall Review: Why would they not include an M2 adapter that can handle an SSD? This was my biggest disappointment (Ultimately my fault for not noticing it though). Since this motherboard is geared towards overclocking you'd figure that the person who buys it may want a faster than ordinary SSD. I already knew it does not come with Wifi so it wasn't a big deal but other motherboards for less price have it included. Lastly USB 3.1 would have been nice. But far and beyond the fact that you cannot used an M2 SSD should be the thing you should consider first. Other than this flaw, I have had not an ounce of trouble with this board. I have overclocked nicely and with very little effort. Oh and if you're overclocking your ram and having trouble setting manual timings, try leaving it as XMP Profile with Auto Voltage and just change the timings. Overall I'd definitely recommend this motherboard as long as you know what features it does and doesn't have.

Great product!! 12/27/2016 12:01:21 PM

Pros: Quality is top notch
Looks great!
Everything is labeled well and the instructions were very good.
Was packaged well and comes with a lot of extras

Cons: Wireless has to be added through the M.2 slot and does not support SSD on the M.2
Getting a wireless card for the M.2 is easy, finding antennas that connect to it and can connect to external antennas has proven more difficult.

Overall Review: I would recommend this board to anyone looking to build a Mini-ITX PC. I caution those who are building a PC for the first time from going thisroute as the build was a little more tricky, due to space being a concern, than other builds I have completed.

Good Board; Bad Design 12/16/2016 11:48:05 AM

Pros: -Good speed
-Overclocking support

Cons: -Abysmal cable management
-Useless heatsinks and I/O shield

Overall Review: As far as performance, this board is legit. Plenty of power coming from a mini-ITX board. I'm sure you can read all the other reviews and gather that much about it. If you're looking for something with power this is definitely a good choice. The six USB 3.0 ports on the back are also extremely handy. I have absolutely no complaints about the temps, compatibility, or speed of this board.
With that said, DO NOT order this board if cable management and a clean look are a factor in your build. The layout of this board is absolutely terrible. The USB 3.0 header is located right next to the PCIe slot which forces you to run the cable across the top of the board, and this is a common theme all over the board. There is absolutely no way to hide most of the cables that are usually very easy to hide. I used this board in a build with the Thermaltake Core V1. This case is designed for hiding cables and even with clipping and zipping all the wires together that I could it still looks tacky. Also, there is almost no clearance for any type of aftermarket CPU cooler (I used a Cryorig C7). I had to completely remove one of the heatsinks on the board and remove a screw from the other. That really cool looking I/O shield was completely useless as it prevented what cable management I could muster from the board. I ended up just removing it too. So, do expect this board to end up looking like anything in these pictures.

Looks like its designed by a person who has never built a computer themselves 12/7/2016 12:50:56 PM

Pros: -Works, thats a plus
- Cheapish

Cons: - Does your 3D card/GPU have a backplate? Then you can't install the optional cosmetic IO shield, since it will interfere with the backplate. You might not be able to plug the USB 3.0 header either. Yay.
- Cannot use standard M.2 ssd drives
- SATA positioning is just plain TERRIBLE. The cable is super visible, and makes cable management moot. Same for the USB 3.0.

Overall Review: Would not recommend. Buy a better designed board, with the added features. Wouldn't have bought this, but I needed to save a few bucks somewhere. Would have been better to spend the $30 more.

Okay board, but a couple issues 12/5/2016 9:04:10 AM

Pros: - Simple, decent, board

Cons: - Unable to use any XMP mode on my memory, motherboard refuses to boot. Had to erase CMOS using button on back panel to get motherboard to boot.
- After working fine for first day, motherboard started to refuse to wake from sleep. Would cycle every two seconds or so making clicking noises. Support was basically useless in helping to resolve.
- BIOS is pretty simplistic.

Breat but metal piece doesn't fit 11/8/2016 6:12:47 AM

Pros: Works fine, does what a motherboard is supposed to do

Cons: No USB header ports and if you have a big GPU that metal piece that goes over the USBs won't fit.

At its Core and Aesthetic = Flawless, but Lacks in Some Areas (Used Masterpass $25 OFF) 10/30/2016 1:28:04 PM

Pros: -Aesthetics are perfect, neutral color scheme for some crazy color setups OR MY CHOICE: BLACK everything + Blue Accents (extensions + H100i Pump Block)
-I/O Shield COVER - not the I/O Shield, that comes with every motherboard, but a cover for these ugly back parts - helps GREATLY with aesthetics
-M.2 KEY E slot for WiFi cards (which I bought and installed Intel's 8260) - BUT go to UEFI AND TURN M.2 ON, it is disabled by default
-UEFI is clean and tells everything you need

Overall clean and nice,

Cons: -The connectors are placed in WEIRD and HARD TO FATHOM reasons for it: the USB 3.0 is bafflingly placed near the I/O stuff RATHER THAN THE BOTTOM OR SIDE, which made me just DUMP FRONT PANEL CONNECTIONS ENTIRELY
-NO USB 2.0 INTERNAL HEADER: which sucks because I cannot connect my H100i Corsair Link connector
-ONLY 3 FAN HEADERS - including the CPU fan header, which is pathetic. Get yourself some Y SPLITTERS because you WILL need them
-Compared to my previous ASUS MAXIMUS VI IMPACT, there is NO MEANINGFUL SOFTWARE for controlling the motherboard and features. YES, there is the E-LEET software, but it is a glorified CPU-Z with overclocking tabs - that is it
-NO WiFi, which DOES CUT COST DOWN but would be nice to have it included - OTHERWISE, YOU WILL HAVE TO BUY THE ANTENNA CABLE, ANTENNAS, AND THE M.2 WiFi CARD ITSELF!

If you are ok with difficult or non-existent cable management, lacking connectors and wifi, and puzzling connector placements, then it is a great deal for the money.

Overall Review: Great board, wins aesthetics over ALL OTHER MINI-ITX BOARDS HANDS DOWN! However, it cuts on some "extras" corner pretty bad, with WiFi and USB 2.0 being the major victims. If you need both of those, the wifi needs are explained above and for USB 2.0 get on another certain website (E.B.A-Y) an INTERNAL 3.0 TO 2.0 adapter. ALSO, GET A USB 3.0 EXTENSION, as well as an EPS connector.

Extremely good, with two clear drawbacks. 10/15/2016 7:58:06 PM

Pros: OC's well, great coloring, good components, rock solid, priced well, trusted brand, easy setup.

Cons: There is one main issue with this product and that is the lack of onboard wifi. If you use ethernet this not an issue and wifi is easy enough to replace. But considering it's main competition from ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte all include it out of the box this is an issue. On the other hand the MSI and Gigabyte use Killer network controllers, this ships with rock solid intel.

The next is issue is that the USB 3.0 header sucks. I've snapped two pins of three of these trying to install it and I've been building computers since the 90's. I'm not blaming EVGA completely here as the entire USB 3.0 header sucks regardless of board to start with, but what's here is more of a pain than most. IMHO this header should be dropped and replaced with dual 2.0 headers for water cooling/fan support.

Overall Review: If you want z170 ITX, top quality, with intel networking, don't care about wifi this is the board you want.
