Overall Review: The PM965 chipset in the Lenovo T61 was never validated to work with 4GB SODIMMS. These modules will work though, since apparently the chipset will work with 256Mx8 chips (which is what the Hynix chips are on these modules). Keep in mind not only that Lenovo never validated this to work, but that Intel never validated the PM965 to work with anything larger than 1Gb tech modules. These modules get away with working on the PM965 since although it's 2Gb tech, the modules are arranged on the SODIMM in a 256 x 16 chip fashion (which apparently the chipset can use). Keep in mind too that 512Mx4 modules most likely WILL NOT work, so you will not be able to use other SODIMMS that only have 4 modules per side of the DIMM. BTW, I'm using Bios 2.26 on the notebook too. :)
