Hello,
I was thinking about buying this RAM for my new build but I'm getting a motherboard with an Intel LGA1150 socket and a Intel Core i7 4770k. Will this RAM work with my setup? Will there be any issues?

Hey I can honestly say that this was my first build ever and I didn't really know what I was doing when it came to buying the ram. I used a website called pcbuilder or something like that. It really helped and showed me what parts were compatible with the ones I chose. My computer is running great right now though and I haven't had any problems yet. I think they're working really well with the build I have. The only difference between our builds is that I got an i5 cpu. That being said I don't think any issues will arise. I hoped this helped in anyway.

Google search your computer our motherboard. Then you can see what speed it will take. All ram to my knowledge can go slower than its rated. There are injury a few different form factors so that generally isn't an issue. I have also used crucial's site to find what friends computers use. They have a memory finder that works well.

No it will not function in your system at max speed.  You chipset only supports DDR3-1066 so this ram will plug in but function at about half their intended speed. If your motherboard has the DDR3 support that is. The age of this system makes upgrades a bit touchy. Its pretty far off current spec so parts will be harder to fit and you will not see the performance boost like a new machine would show you. Try looking into some youtube videos showing the difference between your pc and a moderate modern one.

I have an older LGA1156 socket motherboard that specifies:
- 4 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory
- Dual channel memory architecture
-Support for DDR3 2200/1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules

Would this RAM work okay in my system?

Yeah, you shouldn't have an issue, as long as your power supply can account for it. Be sure the processor's clock speed works with the RAM as well.

If you really want to be sure, a good resource is PCPartPicker (Google it, can't include HTML). There you can enter in your parts, along with the Ripjaws you want to add and it'll tell you if there's any problems.

Question 5

When using 4 sticks of ram, do they need to be IDENTICAL spec-for-spec? I also use w/2 sticks of g.skill F3-2133C11D-16GXL and system is unstable. New sticks = Timing 11-13-13-31 and Cas Latency 11. These are Timing 11-11-11-30, so just barely different. Thanks.

It is ideal to have all four sticks the same.  When you don't, you have to time all the memory at the lower spec or you can have some instability.  If it stays unstable you can try the pairs separately and see which is causing your problem.

Is this ram set compatible with i5-4670k series? The motherboard I got is compatible with the speed and everything I am just going to feel bad if I end up screwing something up, better safe than sorry.

While you really should ask the manufacturer to be sure, I can say I'm running that memory in an ASUS Z87 Plus MoBo with an i5-46xx processor and it runs fine.

Question 7

I have 2 4gig sticks of this in my system, I got my system from CyberpowerPC.  I want to know if this will be compatible. I have 2 avalible slots on my MB, and the sticks I have in my system now is at 2133mhz. Will this work for me?

I'm running them at 2133 no problem.  My motherboard supports XMP.  All I had to was set a performance to XMP and it automatically went to 2133 and works perfectly.  In general, if you mix memory sticks, even if they all run at same speed, you should check the specs for cas latency, etc for the particular speed and put the slower sticks on the primary memoty channel and the faster sticks on the secondary channel.  Otherwise the motherboard may auto-tune for the faster timings that the slower sticks may not be able to handle.  If necessary, depending on the motherboard, many will allow you to set the specific parameters for the memory sticks if you want or need to.  If you set these to the slowest specs of the sticks you are using, everything should work fine.

MSI-gaming 5 motherboard is compatable with DDR3 2133 memory. So yes it should work.

So long as your mother board supports ddr3 yes, these will work fine.

Is this item compatible with AMD Memory Profile (AMP)?

I have seen no indication of AMP being a feature of this memory. I know that it is XMP specified. With that being said I am using this memory with an Asus M5A97 R2.0 mobo and used the overclock utility in the bios to reach 1766 speed. I have not upgraded the bios yet (I have checked and it is out of date) but AMP may be a feature of the new bios ver. 2xxx. This memory natively runs at 1600 but is qualified for up to 2133. It has been a great buy for me. I have used GSkill in the past and haven't had any problems.
