I’m not entirely sure what you mean by settings, usually it automatically does settings recommended via the NVIDIA app per game.
I turn the overlay off if that is what you mean.

Turn on Low Latency Mode to Ultra.
Power management mode to performance.
Turn off VRR if you have G-Sync or FreeSync.
Increase Shader Cache Size to 10GB or Unlimited.
Increase refresh rate to max Hz.
