If your last build was 2 decades ago in 2005, did you go Pentium D or Athlon 64 X2 back then?
We had a lot fewer options for customization back then. If you wanted a fancy-looking build, you bought LED fans and maybe some cold cathodes. Things have indeed changed a lot.

Honestly couldn’t tell you l, it was a prebuilt and it was not great….but since getting back in to building, I rehabbed an old 780 optiplex and a celcius m740 just for the heck of it
Looks great! yeah things have gotten much more expensive and looks like they’re only Climbing up even more. I was in the same situation with my new build as you. There’s a lot more stuff to throw your money at when it comes to aesthetics then back then. you got the Tron: Legacy vibe going on with that one, I like it!!
