That’s a pretty strong build what will you be using it for mostly? I am only asking because there are some places that you can cut for cost to performance and save some money but I’d like to know what you want to use it for first.
actually give me a few minutes you might’ve made a couple mistakes your storage drive is a 3.0 and you definitely want 4.0 now specially with that Motherboard and CPU combo
The motherboard on this is a bit better has a bette VRM’s(Power to the CPU).
you do not need 1000 W power supply
I am having trouble finding that memory From your description, but you have to watch out with Corsair because they make different versions of that memory and some are not expo compatible and you need that with an AMD system to get the full speed out of it
your SSD you picked out is too slow for your system it’s only PCIE 3.0 and you need one that’s PCIE 4.0
for price to performance your RTX 5070 is overpriced you can get a AMD 9070 XT with 16 GB and it’ll probably help perform that 5070. It is true that DLSS better than FSR But it’s almost negligible now in what you can actually see in the 16 GB will allow Your PC to mature better longer. If you’re sold on Nvidia feel free to swap it out.
One other thing I will say is if you wanna shave some costs off your build the 7800x3d Is slightly cheaper and about 10% slower sometimes less depending on the situation. And to be quite honest the 9800x3d Is even too fast for an RTX 5090.
“For a 9800X3D + 9070 XT system, real-world gaming draw is typically under 550W. A quality 750W unit provides ample headroom. 1000W is generally reserved for RTX xx90-tier GPUs or heavy overclocking.”
5070 TI & 9070xt 16GB VRam 256 bit cards with much higher clock speeds vs 12GB 192bit on the 5070. I have a 5070 and it’s a good card but it doesn’t use the full capabilities of that 9800X3D.
Nah, just the GPU since you have the funds, the major thing in builds that should be the ‘bottleneck’ is the GPU. I have a 5070 ti, but I recommend the 9070 xt as it is cheaper and does the same thing for… again, cheaper.
