New CPU/Motherboard Install

Just upgrading my tower. Purchased a new motherboard and an i7 processor. SSD just bought a few months ago.

Have a [GeForce GTX 1080 8GB ] graphics card (old I know).

I bought a MSI PRO B760M-A WIFI DDR4 LGA 1700 (Intel 12th&13th Gen) SATA 6Gb/s Micro ATX Motherboard,WiFi 6,Intel,2.5Gb LAN and the i7 12700KF.

I verified compatibility.

Now I’m stuck. Installed everything and my display will not come up. Installed and removed the RAM multiple scenarios completed. No success.

Looking for help.

Just to be clear - your PC was working fine before. The only two parts you upgraded were the motherboard and the processor.

Just above the main 24-pin ATX power connector on your motherboard, there are a series of LED lights which give you an idea of which part might be preventing the system from displaying. Does it get stuck on one of those LED lights during startup?
