Behold my RGB-powered space heater. I don’t know if this PC is fast, but I do know it can be seen from low Earth orbit. Scientists warned me not to build this. Now it glows, hums, and demands sacrifices.
Just finished my PC build and wanted to get some opinions and thoughts from you all
Specs:
• Ryzen 5 9600X
• MSI RTX 2080
• 32 GB DDR5 (2 real sticks + 2 RGB filler sticks)
• 2 TB WD Black NVMe
Mainly curious what you think about the part combo, airflow/cable management, and whether there are any obvious upgrades or tweaks you’d recommend. Also open to roast it if you must What would you change or improve?
You did a good job! It really dose look nice. The only thing I would say is the GPU is quite weak compared to your CPU. A 9060xt 16GB eventually would pair real well with your CPU (would be my only upgrade choice). Other than that everything else is . Maybe a few of those wire clips that keep the cables together but thats nit picking.
I put the thing together in 30 minutes haha but absolutely plan on jumping to a 5070 at least the majority of the parts were from a previous build aside from the motherboard, cpu and ram. I pulled everything else from my am4 build. Thank you for the compliments! definitely gotta tidy up the cabling especially in the back, where the real party is
