I want warzone to have a 160 fps stable play experience but it seems like im stuck at 130fps. Should i upgrade my i5 12600k to a 13th or 14th gen intel? The bo6 benchmark says my cpu is at 100 percent
Specs:
I5 12600k
5070 oc

I am a noob with settings, but it sounds like you’re CPU bottlenecked, try turning your settings up? So your GPU does more?
good advice. I watched a few videos with 12400f {didnt see any with 12600k} and 5070 they got bout 137fps at 1440p extreme. I did look at you bottleneck percent’s, and at lower resolutions it the worst and at higher resolution it gets less prevalent. so elaniselans advice would be best option to start. Here is a quick chart if you havent checked out the pcbuilds charts yet. 5% oe lower donnnt thinnk about so if ur at 1440p barley think about it lol.
Side note you got you a good gpu and pretty good cpu. I would start looking for a cpu upgrade, but I do not believe its a have to other than wanting them frames baby!!!
Here’s a video to add more information.
What resolution and settings are you playing on? This is using the 9800X3D so you might be CPU bottlenecked.
What are your current in game settings?
Sounds like you have sync turned on. Turn off your v/g-sync and see what your frames go to. If your monitor says it should be faster than that see what windows is seeing in display for refresh on your monitor, you may need a better hdmi/dp cable if your monitor is capable but windows isn’t detecting as such.
that’s a good callout
