Upgrading Ram

I’m trying to upgrade my ram right now I have DDR5 Ram 32gb(2x16GB)5200Mhz cl40 and I would like to go to 64gb of ram. I was wondering if I should buy another 32gb 5200 mhz cl40 or should I just get 64gb(2x32GB).

what is the rest of your system. typically you want to stay with two sticks 6000mhz and a much lower Cl than 40. At least for an AMD build.

My build is 4070, i9-13900kf, and Asus Prime Z790-V AX motherboard.

maybe something like this. I would check the compatibility list with your motherboard not sure about what the maximum voltage on the ram should be.

what viraco’s saying is a good suggestion. I think it would go like this.

If you care about upgrading speed and capacity. Get Viraco’s suggestion.
If you care about upgrading only capacity. Just buy for the EXACT same ram you have

Thank you I appreciate the help, I’ll go with that ram if it’s compatible with my motherboard or you’ve given me the criteria’s I should be looking for.
