(I am currently rocking a 1660 super. So i know anything could be a HUGE upgrade)

First off, Welcome to the Forum!

You might wanna stretch the budget a little if you can, especially if you’re doing modded stuff. The 5060 only having 8GB VRAM could start to hold you back sooner than you’d think and will be really pushed especially with any modded games. It’ll definitely be a big jump from a 1660 Super, but it’s not going to age well at all. If you can get something with 12–16GB, it’ll last you a lot longer and save you from upgrading again too soon. An AM5 system like this one (or one similar) is also a better long-term platform with way more upgrade room over an Intel system (It’s been one of AMD’s biggest advantages over Intel the last few years). If you keep an eye out, you might be able to catch one on sale without going too far over budget. spending a couple hundred more now will save you a lot in the future. Even if you gotta wait a month or two and save up that couple hundred dollars.
