Overall Review: Spent Thanksgiving building / upgrading my computer. My 8 yo MSI board was starting to show its age and decided, before it completely went, to upgrade. Decided to go AMD this time and after much research decided on this board. Chose this one over the other B450 Aorus Elite because...newer. Liked the i/o shield, and 8 usb ports on the rear panel. This is my first Gigabyte board in the past a mostly used MSI at least after Abit quit making boards. Build was easy enough despite my midtower case and long video card making wire management a bit fussy. I did have to move a few of the standoffs as the hole pattern was a bit different than my old board (this board is a bit smaller). I did have a brief moment of terror when I switched on the psu and the onboard leds flashed on very quickly, as I saw a flash a light out of the corner of my eye as a the power was turned on...but it is perfectly normal, but any flash when sending power to a board can be scary. All in All seems a good board so far, and I would recommend it.
