Pros: Plays most games in ultra settings. Card length guarantees fitting in most cases. Overclocks well. Has a nice black theme with a black back plate. Is one of the more affordable r9 390's
Overall Review: I cant say enough about this card. I was able to OC to 1100 core 1650 mem without voltage increase (voltage is locked). This is the same card as the gaming series only without the factory overclock. I can OC the card myself and don't like to raise voltages. Works great with my Asrock MB and the overclock is higher than some with other cards with raised voltages. Once again its the same card as the gaming series with lower factory overclock. I do have an 850 watt Seasonic PSU so make sure you have enough wattage. Card uses lots of power. No shutdown issues here. Definitely recommend it!
Pros: Card works. No resetting issue I read about on a few forums. I maxed out GTA V and Mad Max, with no issues. Only had for 2 days. So far I am happy with my purchase.
Cons: I needed a bigger PSU to run it. I bought a EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G1 to run this, and I have had no problems.
Overall Review: I would like to test it out more, I just can't think of a game that would be best to see if I could max it out. I play at 1080p, so I don't know about higher resolutions. If higher resolution monitors become cheaper, then I would try them out in the future. I was nervous about buying a card with only one review. but it was too good of a deal to pass up at the time.
Pros: -Runs almost every game out there on Ultra-settings @60fps
-Max temps in an 8 hour gta5 session: 72 celsius
Cons: -Voltage is locked
-Cannot overclock at all
-gigabyte hasn't updated the bios
Overall Review: I wouldn't recommend this to people that are looking to overclock but to those who don't care about that kind of stuff its a great card to have, other than that there's not much else to say about it
Pros: comparable price to other brands, but in my experience no good customer service.
Cons: Card doesn't work, drivers are screwy, and it doesn't display games right, they are pixelated and the colors are wrong. 2 emails to customer service and tech support met with silence.
Overall Review: get another brand
Pros: -Small enough to fit most mid-tower cases
-Stays cool (after adjustments, see cons)
-Runs most modern games at ultra/very high at 1080p - 1440p
-Great price to performance ratio
Cons: -VOLTAGE IS LOCKED. Most you can OC this card is 1100MHz core and 1650MHz memory without artifacts and locking up your system.
-Card runs at about 60c idle on default settings, you can change this by enabling manual fan control in the graphics overdrive section of the CCC. I find that anywhere between 50-60% if enough to keep it under 60c on load and quiet enough not to cause much issue with noise, any higher and it gets REALLY LOUD.
Overall Review: -Do not get the other gigabyte card on here, it is price is higher and cant really OC it because of voltage locks, it is pretty much this exact card but with the OC I mentioned above as a default setting. Save the money and get this one instead.
-Downloaded and current beta driver and have not run into any issues while gaming. I have found that the shutdown issue most people are having only happens with I turn the computer off using the power button, if you turn it off through selection options by hitting the windows key it stays off no issue.
Pros: Card is amazing bang for the buck. Has a ton of features and plays pretty much any game I can throw at it at the highest settings with no issues
Cons: CARD PREVENTS COMPUTER FROM COMPLETING SHUT DOWN!!!! When you try to shut down your computer it will shut down and then automatically restart. Do a google or bing search and you will see that this is a widespread issue with this specific brand and make of card.... Wish I had seen this earlier. I have exclusively bought gigabyte cards and boards with no issues for years... but this is a huge let down
Overall Review: Wish Gigabyte would release a BIOS update that would fix this issue.... I have bought tons of products from them over the years and normally swear by their quality... this is the first and only time they have let me down....
Pros: Do you by chance have a Dell XPS?
The issues may not be the graphic's card. It may be your motherboard's BIOS supplied by the manufacturer of your PC.
Cons: Some Dell motherboards are set up to only support particular card.
Other manufacturers of PCs may pull the same move and write BIOS that only supports certain cards.
Overall Review: The symptoms "Monitor enters sleep mode / black screen after reboot" has described mirror the issues that were discussed on Dell support forums for generations of XPS systems.
I have a Dell 8500 with 3770 i7 and I can't even use the new graphics cards in it without replacing the mobo from what I am seeing online.
Make sure you can return the product if you have issues!
1) copper pipes
2) metal backplate
3) 3 year warrenty
4) Excellent performance for 1440p modern games. Pretty good at 4K if you back the settings down to High instead of Ultra. Trust me, you will not see a difference.
Cons: 1) Does get warm, but this is to be expected. My monitor highest refresh rate is 60hz, so in the Catalyst control panel, I set the max fps to 60. This helps tremendously to keep the temperature cool, instead of trying to run at full speed all the time.
Overall Review: This is a great card and it won't disappoint you with today's games. I haven't tried OC, but I use the frame limiter to keep it cool, so it would have been pointless.
I don't have any problems with this card, everything works flawlessly. No shutdown, or other weird hiccups.
