I personally own 4 Supermicro M12SWA-TF O motherboards and 2 ASUS Pro WS WRX80E-SAGE SE WIFI motherboards. The Supermicro board is presently rarer than unicorn droppings, so good luck finding one that's not sold by a scalper for higher prices. The ASUS board is a really nice, feature-packed motherboard, but it's VERY pricey. So you should do your research and find the board that best suits you.

What coolers are compatible with this?

The air cooler I use for both of my Threadripper Pro 5955WX systems is the Noctua NF-A15 PWM air cooler.
The heatsink has one Noctua NF-A15 fan mounted on it.
I highly recommend you add a second NF-A15 fan to the other side of the heatsink in a push/pull configuration.
I'm able to reach a 4.7GHz CPU boost using these Noctua air coolers.
The fan that's on it is a Noctua NF-A15 140mm fan, but it's got 120mm hole positions.
It comes with the metal clips to attach the fan to the heatsink. It is super easy to install.

Noctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3, Premium-Grade CPU Cooler for AMD sTRX4/TR4/SP3 (140mm, Brown).
Noctua NF-A15 PWM, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (140mm, Brown).

As far as I am aware, it only comes in brown.
