Excellent mouse

Corsair Certified CH-9000022-NA Vengeance M65 Gunmetal Black 8 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 8200 dpi FPS Gaming Mouse
Corsair Certified CH-9000022-NA Vengeance M65 Gunmetal Black 8 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired Laser 8200 dpi FPS Gaming Mouse

Pros: For me a very comfortable mouse. Very substantial scroll wheel, has sniper mode switch that reduces DPI/CPI for accurate aiming and other fine control actions in gaming (also very helpful as a productivity feature). Windows driver works fine. The basic mouse works perfectly in Linux. The driver software works fine and allows customization of the buttons.

Cons: None really.

Overall Review: I wear L/XL sized gloves though I prefer a slightly smaller mouse so that I can that I can either palm, claw, or fingertip grip. I got it on sale even :)

LED failures

ROCCAT ROC-12-651-BE Ryos TKL Pro TENKEYLESS Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with Per-Key Illumination - BLUE CHERRY MX Key Switch
ROCCAT ROC-12-651-BE Ryos TKL Pro TENKEYLESS Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with Per-Key Illumination - BLUE CHERRY MX Key Switch

Pros: Mechanical key switches, programmable illuminated keys.

Cons: One month and LED failures already.

Overall Review: Not worth paying extra for LED illumination given that the LED's do not work for more than a month.

Very well made

JONSBO U4 PRO MESH BLACK ATX Case,Integrated ATX/MATX/ITX PC case, Compact Desktop, Dual-MESH-Panels High Performance Heat Dissipation,High Compatibility,Support AIO240/GPU330,5-Position for 120mm Fan

Pros: Will hold a variety of ATX devices (motherboard and PSU)

Cons: Limited CPU cooler height which also means that certain graphics card will not fit, in particular a MSI Suprim Liquid cooled which needs just a bit more room to fit top exiting hoses).

Overall Review: It's a good case but it doesn't meet my needs.

Works very well

Bykski D5 Pump Top Kit Version 2
Bykski D5 Pump Top Kit Version 2

Pros: Inexpensive and allows the pump to achieve full performance. Is aesthetically pleasing.

Cons: No functional issues. One minor quibble is that it might have been nice to have included a pad of some sort.

Overall Review: Pump tops do matter. I compared this pump top to one from Alpha cool, XPSC and Aqua Computer. This Bykski was much less expensive than the others and gave much better flow in my loop. According to my flow meter, the Bykski improved the maximum flow from 165 to 195 liter/hour which is considerable. The only change was the pump top, the pump and balance of the system was identical. I was particularly disappointed by the Alpha Cool. Recommended.

Worked fine for my needs

USB 3.1 Type-C to USB AM Data & Charging Cable- up to 3A (1 m / 3.2 ft.)
USB 3.1 Type-C to USB AM Data & Charging Cable- up to 3A (1 m / 3.2 ft.)

Pros: Sturdy, well made, provides usb 3 speeds and good charging. I use it in a KVM, it works fine.

Cons: Not the least expensive cable but it is specialized and of good quality.

Overall Review: Perfect if you need a USB 3.1 Type-C to USB A male Data & Charging Cable- up to 3A (1 m / 3.2 ft.)

Good KVM but some issues for gaming.

USB HDMI 2.1 KVM Switch 4K 120Hz, BolAAzuL 8K Dual-Port USB 3.0 HDMI 2.1 KVM Switch, USB-C HDMI KVM Switcher with Keyboard Shortcut Hotkey Switching HDCP 2.3 for Nvidia AMD Xbox Series X S PS5/4 pro

Pros: The main aspects of my game rig is a Samsung Odyssey G8 Monitor, an i9-13900 and an RTX 4090. This combo can run many titles at up to 3840x2160@240Hz (i.e. 4K@240Hz) on either DP 1.4 or HDMI 2.1. I have found that this KVM can reliably switch the display between my game rig and my work laptop without sacrificing the maximum 240Hz refresh rate for games. This is good but is not that unusual; all KVM's that support 8K@60Hz should be able to support 4K@240Hz since an 8K monitor has about 4 times the pixels of a 4K monitor and hence requires 4 times the bandwidth. So 4k@240Hz is an effectively equivalent bandwidth to 8K@60Hz. This KVM also supports keyboard switching. The key sequence to switch displays is the CTRL key pressed twice in a quick succession. For this to work you must plug the keyboard into the USB port marked as keyboard. The KVM is housed in an aesthetically pleasing aluminum chassis.

Cons: The first problem I ran into is that this KVM does not offer very good EDID, when you switch it can cause your windows to move. It is worse if you switch when there is no signal on the switched to video port. On Win 10, switching invariably moves the mouse pointer to the center of the screen. In my experience, on both Win 11 and Ubuntu Linux the screens do not change when switched. It's not the most significant problem but other KVM's do not do this. Another minor problem is that this KVM does not offer mouse switching. One Pro that is also a Con is that it uses the CTRL key as a the lead hot key for keyboard switching. In some games CTRL is the crouch command and in such games you likely don't want to risk a display switch when you crouch. The CTRL key is also used in the Vim and Emacs editors which is a further inconvenience. So on this KVM when gaming or when using Vim or Emacs, you need to disable the keyboard switching by plugging the keyboard into the mouse port (and vice-versa) or by by using Ctrl+Shift+k. However both of these methods are inconvenient since then to switch PC's you have to reach to the KVM unit (it doesn't have a remote switch) Hence the KVM can't be hidden out of sight. Many KVM's resolve this problem by simply providing a small switching key. Others permit setting other keys (Scroll Locke etc.) as the lead hot key. Another Pro that is also a Con is that while the KVM is housed in an aesthetically pleasing aluminum chassis, it is bigger than many other KVM's with similar or better functionality. This is not the worst problem but these problems all add up.

Overall Review: Considering the Pro's I've mentioned, this is an overall good KVM, reasonably priced aesthetically pleasing and offers keyboard switching for 4K@240Hz. But the Con's are too much of a disincentive for my needs. So it really it depends on your use of the CTRL key and how you might need to switch and whether you can tolerate the KVM being within arms reach. It doesn't work for me. Hence, I have returned it.
