Amazing size and quality

RAIDMAX Narwhal ATX-920WB Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case
RAIDMAX Narwhal ATX-920WB Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: beefy construction big enough to Crossfire two full sized AMD cards lots of room for drive expansion, if that's your thing power supply on bottom means less tipping danger quiet fans

Cons: didn't come with quite enough hard drive / expansion card screws. had to dip into my stash. not quiet enough USB ports. 4 is ok, but my board has another 6 ports that I can't use without buying more headers.

Overall Review: I would recommend this full sized case to anyone who wants to build a gaming system with room for airflow and larger video cards. I have a pair of AMD R9 280x cards and, with the removal of the optional center hard drive cage, the cards have room to spare. If you are a first time builder or just don't have spare bits, the lack of coarse thread screws means you might have to borrow from a friend. I needed to dip into the stash to have enough to fasten the hard drive as well as two screws for each of the PCIe Video cards.

Very pretty. Good value.

AZZA CSAZ-290 FIGHTER Black ATX Mid Tower Case
AZZA CSAZ-290 FIGHTER Black ATX Mid Tower Case

Pros: Inexpensive. Tight tolerances. Tempered glass is very pretty. Lots of ways to hide cable sins.

Cons: Metal construction is quite thin, but that's standard on equipment today.

Overall Review: I ordered this because it was the cheapest mid tower case available and it had a mail in rebate active. I didn't even really look at what I was ordering because when it arrived and I saw it was a full glass side, I was surprised and excited. This was far too nice a case for the home lab junk I bought it for, so I migrated my main gaming PC into it and used my old (huge) raidmax narwhal for my home lab. It went together well. This is the first set of argb fans I've had so I had to figure out how that all hooked up and why the reset button was routed that way (pressing reset changes the RGB patterns manually. Who really uses reset anyway?) With a fully modular PSU, there's plenty of room under the PSU cover to hide the unavoidable cable nest in such a way that the rest of the install looks mint. Be careful to either wash your hands or wear gloves before installing into the case as fingerprints on glass can drive you nuts. I wish cases came with multiple usb3 ports up front these days. The last few I've bought have a single 3 and a pair of usb2.

Inexpensive and roomy

Rosewill ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case, Latching Tool-less Design of Drive Bays, Support up to 5 Fans - CHALLENGER S
Rosewill ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case, Latching Tool-less Design of Drive Bays, Support up to 5 Fans - CHALLENGER S

Pros: Loads of room for a larger motherboard. Comes with lots of basic LED fans

Cons: Drive caddy removal required complete teardown.

Overall Review: Worked great to house my older A88X-PRO ASUS motherboard in order to build a proxmox virtualization server for my home lab. Paired with a 750W PSU, it makes a nice, quiet, though bright blue lit server in the corner.

Pros: quiet many connections reasonable power for cost

Cons: non modular

Overall Review: Works well to get a workstation or home server running. 750W might be a little lean for someone trying to run multiple high end GPUs, but for standard hardware, works perfectly well. There are tons of connectors, which makes it versatile, but also makes it a little hard to tidy wires.

Works fine for server or workstation

VisionTek Radeon 5450 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 ATX Graphics Card 900860
VisionTek Radeon 5450 1GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.1 x16 ATX Graphics Card 900860

Pros: small form factor diverse connections for monitors

Cons: nothing

Overall Review: Not going to be playing AAA games with it, but as an inexpensive option for server or workstation hardware without onboard video, it gets the job done.
