If you will be mounting in the same 3.5" drive bay you will need a 3.5" to 2.5" adapter.  I used the IcyDock EZ-Fit Lite MB290SP-B.  This assumes your motherboard will support SATA cables.  If not you will need a SATA adapter card.

Okay, what DRAM does is maps the drive so that each sector wears evenly. It won't affect the speed much, only the longevity, and with modern drives we're still talking years of operation in most use cases either way. It's often very hard to find this in the literature. My information may be a little out of date, but was true of the last generation of SSD's.  Traditionally, the Western Digital Green series SSD's do not have DRAM. The Western Blue, like this one, traditionally does. The Black series does as well. This was true for their 3D-NAND drives that are a bit older than this. These are QLC drives, which allow for denser storage, hence cheaper cost, but slow down quicker as the drive fills up when compared to their TLC counterparts. I use these for mass storage, including games, and then WD Black m.2 w/ heatsink for my OS's. Other brands that have DRAM are the Pro series Samsung SSD's and nearly all Intel SSD's.
