Used with the blue led Deepcool Windblade 120mm fan as replacements for the two Noctua NH-D14 CPU cooler fans
Pros: Performs better then the 3 pin Noctua 140mm fan that came with the NH-D14, and looks better also. The 140mm fan has a higher CFM then the Noctua 140mm, and specs show the Deepcool is louder at maximum rpm. BUT, when you lower the rpm to the same CFM output as the Noctua, it seems no louder, yet has the potential to push more air when needed. The 4 pin PWM fan gives me more flexible performance, and higher cooling then the NOCTUA NF-P14 fan ever did, and does it without the funky tan and brown of the Noctua (Whoever at Noctua thought tan and brown was a good color choice is clueless. When have you ever seen anything else that is tan and brown inside of a pc case ? )
Cons: Not available with LED lighting, but at least it's better looking then the fans it replaced.
Overall Review: Nice replacement with better cooling, and styling then the Noctua fan it replaced .
Budget case, budget quality
Pros: Fairly attractive for the price point. Nice blue led power indicator. Decent airflow. Both sides removable. Physical size on the smaller side of most Mid Tower cases, which allowed me to fit it into a smaller opening. This size was the main issue for choosing the case, as it needed to fit into a limited space , yet still allow a full atx mobo, with 2 x dual PCI-E slots video cards . O.K. for someone who builds the PC and leaves it alone . See cons for details on this.
Cons: Thin construction as expected from a budget case, but my main issue is the screw terminals for securing video cards and PCI cards is very flimsy. Most have stripped out, which requires me to force even larger screws to hold the cards down. Slippery slope as every time you unscrew them, they loosen further, which requires to go larger yet again. On and on ... Worst I have ever seen in ANY case.
Overall Review: The main issue with the screw terminals is due to my often swapping video cards. I use the case as my main PC. and It gets used as a test PC for any new components (new & used ) that I pick up. I've been building PC's since the first Pentium CPU (60 mhz) and have never, ever stripped out a screw in any other case. Even laptops as well. I have built, or refurbished over a 100 pc's in all that time. This is the first to have this screw down problem . Cannot recommend ...
Works well, easy setup, but lacks some of the WOW factor of the original Capellix header. Selling mine.
Pros: Nice screen, bright, with good detail. Very easy to use with my own images. Recognized by Icue with no fuss. Has a lot of potential to display countless GIFS and pics, just requires some creative effort on the users part. (Also one of the biggest cons, see below).
Cons: The inlcuded GIFS that Corsair supplies is almost nothing, only 3. What is missing are gifs that replicated what you give up when you remove the Cappelix display. How hard could that be ? So instead of an upgrade, it feels more like a sideways move, since you give up so much of the WOW factor that you had with the original Capellix header. For $100 , literally more than half of any Capellix setup, what you end up getting is a very limited display out of the box. While you can create all sorts of possible images and gifs to display, what bugs me the most is the almost complete lack of images and gifs pre-supplied by Corsair. Pretty pricey display, with minimal support IMO. The display has loads of potential, but is sorely missing the needed images and gifs to integrate it with the existing Capellix AIO Icue light display scheme. The total affect feels like the display doesn't belong, and is mismatched with the Capellix setup .
Overall Review: Would only recommend this to someone looking for a more creative visual display for their AIO. Lacks the VISUAL impact of the original LED faceplate. Does not integrate as seamlessly as you'd expect with the AIO light show that is standard with the Capellix AIO Icue setup. After the Novelty wear off. What I am left with is the feeling of being very disappointed with the display, and will be selling mine at a loss ...
Excellent mid priced case ! Solid, looks great.
Pros: This is my 2nd purchase of this case. Love the large 200mm fans, excellent air flow, minimal noise. The rgb is good, not great, as it only has led's around the center hub. Still, it's decent looking, just not up to snuff with the Corsair LL & QL fans I have in one of the two cases. The hinged door is easy to remove and closes securely. Has room for a 140mm fan on the rear, and 2 on top. Can accommodate a 240mm AIO and even a 280mm AIO up top. But see cons for installing a 280mm AIO . For a 200mm ARGB fan upgrade, try the Raijintek Anemi 20 rbw fans. Great looking fans that have 42 led's, around the center hub AND outer ring. However, you will need to power the Raijintek fans with a psu molex cable.
Cons: Originally tried to install a MSI 280mm AIO with no luck, even though the description states it can handle up to a 360mm aio cooler. My guess is this can only be done by installing it up front. I was eventually able to fit a EVGA CLC280 AIO cooler on top, but I had to cut off some of the plastic barrier that is in place to protect the control panel switches and wires. The radiator hits this plastic divider/wall/barrier and keeps the radiator from sitting flush. Also the cheesy stickers at the center of the 200mm fans aren't placed precisely, which made the fans look like they are wobbling. Removed the stickers, and it looks even better, as the light from the led's penetrate further into the center of the fan.
Overall Review: Best bang for the buck case I have ever bought. Looks great and has ample room to install the largest gpu's.
Nice looking ARGB 200mm fan. Unconventional plug, but fits & works on typical 5v argb connections
Pros: VERY good looking fan. Most 200mm argb fans have either outside, or inside hub leds. This 200mm fan, has plenty of both. Bought these to upgrade the argb fans that came with the Gamdias Apollo E2 Elite case. Like the Gamdias, you will need to remove the sticker placed on the fan center, due to the stickers being applied off center, which makes it look like it's wobbling when the fan spins. However, this is a good thing. With the sticker/decal removed, the fan looks better, as the light penetrates further into the hub. So even if the decals were placed neatly, I'd still remove them to maximize the light effect. Fan seems to be fairly quiet and moves air well. As for durability, being a sleeved bearing fan, I'm not expecting these to last forever. But at less than half the price of others, I'll simply replace them when they wear out.
Cons: Has an unconventional 5v argb plug. Looks similar to a pwm fan plug, but it does plug onto the typical 5v connectors. Just no markings on the fan plug, nor is it mentioned anywhere in/out of the box, which way the plug needs to be oriented, up or down. I say up or down because the plug will connect either way to the standard 5v connector. This plug is a female 4 pin with 4 wires attached. No blank pin or missing wire like you will find on the standard 5v 3 wire connector. No offset. To position correctly, the plug has two raised plastic guides on one side, and the other side you can see the metal pins through openings on the connector. You need to have the grooved side down, and the metal pins facing up. Another way to view this, is to look directly at the female opening of the plug, with the metal pin openings facing up. The blank pin on the standard 5v 3 pin connector should line up with the 2nd pin from the left on the Raijintek fan plug. This is a minor quibble, but needs to be pointed out. BTW, no adapter is needed to connect to a standard mobo or led controller that uses the typical 3 pin 5v connection. But the fan power does connect with a 4 pin molex connector. Molex to 4 pin/3 pin adapters are available to buy if needed.
Overall Review: Would recommend anyone using this fan. But keep in mind the fan has unusual connectors, but not a real issue if you take care and orient the connector properly.
Dual LED loop (front & rear) with side slits, and center hub led's . Best budget fan set for the $$$
Pros: Well made and really good looking fans. This is one of 3 sets that Hihoch sells around this price point. THE H03 HiHoch set is the one to buy. Much quieter and better looking than the other HiHoch sets, yet usually available around the same price, sometimes for even less. Buy the ones with the curved sides, with the LED side slits. The cheaper sets (Both Black&White) are square with no side slits, poorer light quality, and are much louder. I own both sets, take my word for it. These fans perform even better when used with a higher quality controller like Corsair offers (But require a cable adapter to do so). The included controller works well, but is a little choppy when it transitions from one effect to another.
Cons: The included controller works well, but is not as smooth in transitioning from one effect to another like the pricier controllers such as the Corsair models. BUT, the Corsair fans and controllers will set you back at least two, usually three times as much. These Hihoch fans are very close to Corsair in looks, and performance, but not their equal. BUT a far better value. Still I've found these pwm fans to be more than good enough for cooling, and are very good looking as well.
Overall Review: Best budget fans I've found so far ! Decent controller, GREAT FANS, overall a high value set ! Hard to beat at this price point, just make sure you buy this Hihoch model (H03) with the curved sides (Not squared), and avoid the other Hihoch models they sell. The difference is not a small difference, in both looks and noise.
Fast shipper !
All fine, consistently fast to ship.
This seller is so slow to ship, you might as well just order it from China and save some bucks. You'll have to wait anyways, so why pay more.
Look elsewhere, this is not a seller interested in taking care to deliver the item in a timely manner. From their overlong period to actually get it to the shipper (After label was created), to their cheap and slow choices for shipping. You literally cannot do worse anywhere else, even overseas.
Fast shipping, nice case.
Good deal on a nice case. Easily one of the nicer cases I've bought under $100. Would buy again, and will do so soon.
