Easy-to-use kitchen pressure cookers cook foods faster than using a traditional household oven. Use them to prepare a wide range of foods, from frozen to room temperature. They come in a variety of sizes, streamlined shapes and on-trend colors to add style to your kitchen decor. Decide ahead of time the capacity and available options that suit your needs.

A Machine Built to Last for Years

Kitchen pressure cookers are available in two styles and multiple materials. Stovetop models in general have two to three pressure settings, including high, standard and low. The high pressure is usually around 13-15PSI and the low setting is in the range of 6-8PSI. An electric automatic cooker's PSI can vary depending on the brand and model. However, on average it falls in between 8-13. Stovetop models require a hands-on approach initially to adjust the heat setting of the stove as the pressure cooker reaches the set pressure. Automatic cookers include touch controls that enable you to plug them in, set them and walk away. Most pressure cookers are made of durable aluminum, copper or stainless steel. While aluminum is a less expensive, budget-friendly option, stainless steel is durable and will last for many years of use.

Automatic Cookers Reduce Cooking Time Without Compromising Quality

Like slow cookers and egg cookers, kitchen pressure cookers are easy to use. The tightly sealed container uses the steam created inside to accelerate the temperature, resulting in less time to finish without losing any of the food's nutritional value. A stovetop model can reduce the cook time by 30 percent, and freestanding countertop models by two to six times versus a conventional oven. Food is evenly cooked throughout, and many models even allow you to decide on a preferred texture ahead of time.

Kitchen Pressure Cookers Are Energy Saving, Convenient and Easy to Maintain

While kitchen appliances such as rice cookers typically have a single purpose, a kitchen pressure cooker works well for a range of foods, including vegetables, meats, and soups. Countertop models have smart programs that allow you to cook a particular food with a single touch. They consume less energy than an oven and don't heat up the kitchen. Many also include a 24-hour timer to delay the cooking process and a warmer to keep foods at a desirable temperature. Additionally, a programmable multi cooker eliminates the need for multiple pans, and dishwasher-safe models make cleaning up quick and easy.

Enjoy Versatility With Size and Function Options

Many digital cookers are free-standing appliances that come with bright LCD screens, preset touch or push controls and multiple settings. Many 10-in-1 and 12-in-1 models include a huge range of cooking options, including saute, steam and dehydrate. Stovetop cookers contain a locking lid, and work well on both gas and electric stoves. Some models also work on induction cooker surfaces as well. They are made of high-quality materials, have an encapsulated bottom to provide even heating and pressure valves with a spring-loaded or jiggle top design. Kitchen pressure cookers vary in size and capacity to suit the needs of your family.
