I purchased this NVME SSD because the price was great and I wanted to upgrade in size. I use it as the boot drive for my Lenovo laptop which only supports NVME Gen 3 x4. Gen 4 would not have given me any more performance. I have been happy with the performance.

I used two of these SSDs in my Core 2 Duo and my Pentium 4 Builds which are running Windows XP, and they work beautifully with it. May not be the one for Modern PC's. But if you're using something like a Core 2, Athlon 64 or Pentium 4, these are great for that.

-haven't gone over 55C during usage, using motherboard m.2 heatsinks (ASUS Strix X670E-F) -for whatever reason latency measured vs my 980 Pro is better than expected (I see random lags in the latter) -nice big NVMe drive for the speed junky in all of us

Upgraded from 1TB M.2 SSD simple swap. Works great with my Asus Z390 ROG ITX motherboard M.2 PCIE 3.0. Used with the included heatsink from the motherboard & temps stayed really low. Being an ITX build temps were 40c idle & 57c playing COD MW. Did a 5GB transfer test using Black Magic Disk Speed test software & did pretty good even thought I was doing more then its advertised. Also did ATTO Disk Benchmark & tested with default setting & got exactly what was advertised. Note, when in game my CPU i7-9700k 87% load was reaching temps of 80c. So a lot of heat was being creating & again it manage to stay below 57c preventing thermal throttle.
