Great Monitor
Pros: Great colors. Fits in the space I have. LED. IPS. Adjustable stand. Build Quality is typical solid NEC. HDCP compatible which was one of my must haves.
Cons: I'm glad this unit has speakers, but sadly they are horrible sounding. They're good for typical computer sounds but NOT for music or movies.
Overall Review: I bought this so I could use Windows Media Center on a Win 7 machine. It had to be HDCP compliant which it is. I also have an HP 23" widescreen monitor sitting next to the NEC for my Win 10 machine which does NOT have WMC.
Big Dissapointment!
Pros: Beautiful case IMHO. Digital high def tuner including QAM. PIP but only with tuner. Sturdy screw-in stand.
Cons: Extremely poor viewing angles. Colors wash out as soon as you move from dead center. Magicangle kind of works but you have to go through the menus to get to it, a hassle. No color "POP" at all. The TV treats the HDMI inputs as a video device not a PC (even if PC or DVI/PC is selected as the input name) so if your PC is set to turn the monitor off, the monitor does NOT go into standby (another hassle), it DOES turn off after a while (you set the time in 15 min increments) but then you have to turn it back on. Only the analog VGA input goes into standby. This does not make any sense! Can't swap the PIP with the main. No PIP button on the remote you have to go through the menu. The control buttons on the panel are very difficult to use and almost impossible to see.
Overall Review: I was waiting for an LED monitor with a built-in HDTV tuner. I'll be waiting some more. I have purchased other Samsung LED monitors recently for customers, none of them have such poor viewing angles. I guess you have to be wary when a monitor has a "Magic Angle" feature which is a code for "this monitor has very poor viewing angles and you need a "feature" to correct it!
Too noisy!
Pros: Large capacity.
Cons: Way too noisy! Entire PC vibrates and hums. Too loud to tolerate. Sent it back.
Overall Review: I don't know if all 8 TB drives are this loud or I got a lemon. I have two other WD drives in my system, one 4 TB and one 1 TB that are quiet. I cannot recommend this drive.
Nice compact ATX RGB case
Pros: I transplanted an older build into this case just for the fun of it. I added 2 ML120 RGB fans from a Capellix AIO from another build, a LS100 light strip, and 1 QL120 fan. Controlling the leds is an iCUE Commander Core XT. I didn't use the included lighting node core. The build was simple enough. All parts installed with little effort.
Cons: Cable management is challenging. Take it one step at a time. I strongly suggest a modular power supply. My non modular CX750 fit ok, but the extra cables were an issue. I pulled the HDD drive caddys out, left the cage in, and used that space to stuff cables in. I had planned to use an HDD, but I couldn't. My two SSDs are mounted behind the MB in the space provided. Also, the space behind the motherboard is a bit too shallow. The motherboard power cable being as thick as it is, and all the fan and other cables make closing the back of the case difficult, but possible.
Overall Review: Yes, I would recommend this case to someone who wants a compact ATX RGB case. And it is Corsair quality.
Easy install of ATX MB
Pros: Easily installed my Gigabyte ATX motherboard. Installed a 240mm Corsair CPU cooler on top. Had to move PS bracket down a notch, no problem. Installed 2 SSDs on back of MB tray. I like the magnetic mesh filters. Plenty of room behind MB tray for wire management. No problem installing my GTX760.
Cons: Not crazy about the installed rear fan. It's very noisy. I replaced it with a Corsair LED maglev fan which is whisper quiet.
Overall Review: Overall easy install. A bit time consuming tucking the cables behind the mb tray for cable management, but in the end worth the time for a clean install. It is unusual to have the ps installed in the front of the case, but it allows an ATX mb to be installed in a case the size of a micro ATX case which is exactly what I wanted.
Works in a Dell Inspiron 11 i3147-3750sLV
Pros: This works in my Dell Inspiron 11.6-Inch 2 in 1 Convertible Touchscreen Laptop, i3147-3750sLV. As you would suspect, all programs run faster and the whole computer is "zippier". In addition to this memory upgrade, I installed a SSD and a dual band wireless AC network card to make this laptop the best it can be.
Cons: None!
Overall Review: I was worried about adding more memory to this unit because the Dell website and a Dell CSR both claim that 4GB of memory is the max. I read online that some people have successfully installed 8GB of ram so I decided to give it a try. It works! No problems!!! I'm glad I did it. I chose Ripjaws because G.Skill is the brand I have been buying for the past several years and have never had any issue with any G.Skill memory module.
