Govee RGBWIC TV Backlight 3 Lite

The calibrated image still has slight distortion. Will it affect color capturing?
It will not affect the color capture area and sync. It is typical for the corrected image to be slightly curved. Due to the differences in TV panels, color adjustment is required after completing the camera correction to get the closest color to TVs.
Why can the camera be installed on the top of the TV only?
The camera must be installed on top of the TV to prevent ceiling light from being reflected on the TV screen, affecting the color-picking results and obtaining a better viewing experience.
How do I reinforce the LED strip light and camera?
Press firmly when sticking the strip light and use the provided cable clips to reinforce. The extra 3M stickers can be attached to the counterweight's silicone grip for additional attachment strength.
Do you have to have 2.4G Wi-Fi for the backlight to match and react with your TV screen?
A 2.4 G Wi-Fi connection is required to connect the light and use with Video Mode. 5G is not supported.
What TV thickness range is suitable for the 3 Lite TV light strip?
The suitable TV thickness range is 4mm-35mm.

7.8ft Govee TV LED Backlight 3 Lite is suitable for 40-50inch TVs. Govee 3 Lite improves the accuracy of color-matching with upgraded technology, making the lighting effect more vivid and bright.

Special Features:

Upgraded chip to support fish-eye correction function: The upgraded chip with stronger computing power can support flattening the distorted image into a normal picture, thereby expanding the effective area for color picking and capturing more correct colors of the edge.

Upgraded 4-in-1 lamp bead: RGBICW (RGB + Warm White+a built-in Independent Chip) strip light is a higher level of the RGB strip light. The colors are increased by 255 times more than RGBIC. Enhanced the saturation and pixel density so that the TV LED strip lights can get more natural and brighter light effects to improve the accuracy of color-matching.

More Functions on the Govee Home APP Blank Screen Detection:When this function is enabled, the system will automatically turn off the TV backlight if a blank or static screen is detected to save energy.

Black Bar Exclusion: When the function is enabled during the color-picking process, the top and bottom black bars can be recognized and ignored automatically, allowing the colors on the edges to be accurately extracted.

Tips:

1. Position the camera to the top center of TV. Make sure the TV's top edge fits to the right angle at the end of the front half of the camera.

2. When calibrating, use a mobile phone hotspot or stay closer to the router to load the "calibration screen" faster. Please avoid direct sunlight, which will affect the color-picking effect when watching movies.
