Here at Newegg we’re interested in all forms of competition, whether it’s for the fastest PC or the fastest car on the track. This past Labor Day weekend Carl Edwards won the Bojangles’ Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. The winning No. 19 ARRIS toyota Camry was fielded by Joe Gibbs Racing.
It was an exciting race, and an ultra-fast pit stop crew helped Carl Edwards get in great position. With only 8 Laps to go, Carl beat Brad Keselowski to the finish by .902 seconds.
While that’s great news for Carl, and the rest of the ARRIS team, it’s also great news for Newegg, since our sticker was on the winning car.
This is Edwards’ second win this season and 25th in his career. The best part of Carl Edwards being in the front of the race is all his competitors got to see the back of his car, right where the Newegg logo is placed. No car is better suited for Newegg than Edwards’ bright orange machine. Now I’m not saying adding Newegg helped him win the race, but this is his first victory at Darlington, so there’s a good chance it could be the reason.
