New Product Announcements at the Apple Live Event

Apple Event

Today Apple announced its latest line of cool products. Now, while I’m not the biggest Apple fan, innovation in the computer world is always good. Today Apple provided the world with their vision and the direction their technology is taking.

The best way to describe Apple is to compare them to a chef’s knife, great for certain tasks. While the PC is more like a Swiss army knife, good at all tasks. They’re both valuable tools to have, but each has its place. And when it comes to PCs I Like the ability to really decide each day what I want to do with my system. I can’t argue that Apple’s innovation with the smart phone has carved out an industry and defined how we use mobile tech today. ITunes itself has changed how people enjoy their media. We’re sure that Apple will keep introducing new and exciting tech well into the future.

These are some of the exciting announcements Apple made today:

The iPad Pro

The iPad Pro is a newer, larger, more powerful tablet, featuring a 12.9” screen and A9X chip. It has twice memory bandwidth and twice storage performance of last year’s iPad. It even has a 10 hour battery life. It sounds like Apple is planning to take on the Surface Pro directly.

The Apple Pencil

What tablet is complete without a proper tool to write out “Hello world?” The Apple Pencil allows users to tilt and feel depth as they write just like they would with a real pencil, but then again a real pencil doesn’t need to be recharged.

Apple TV

Apple TV is back with a vengeance. It now has more content, a better remote and a lot of cooperation from major vendors in the industry. The remote features a touchpad and a microphone button so you can ask Siri for help sorting through all your media choices. There is also a strong push into gaming and applications.

iPhone 6S

The iPhone is upgraded with a new level of awesome. It includes 4k video support and a 12 megapixel camera. With its new A9 chip you can expect 90% faster graphics. Hopefully the 6S will be a “success” for Apple.

So how do you feel about these new announcements? Have the latest offerings from Apple convinced you it’s time to upgrade, or are you happy with your current hardware? Let us know in the comments below.
